“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think [of himself] more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”
Romans 12:3
Brothers and Sisters What Is Your Faith? According to the Scripture above Every Person that Accepts Jesus is given a Measure Of Faith. No one’s Faith is Greater than anyone else’s, so then why can some lay hands and heal the sick, while others can speak to the dead and see them rise from deaths door, still others seem to not be able to do anything.
So what makes it appear that some people have more Faith then others? There are a few specific reasons. But first we need to understand that each one of us have been given the exact same measure of Faith, if it was measured then it would be, for example, the same cup filled to the brim every time.
“19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? 20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
Matthew 17:19-20
Now Jesus said if You have Faith As A Grain Of Mustard Seed Then… we have been given Faith by Measure, to do The Impossible, to Be The Impossible!!! Again, so why does it seem that Faith is Weak within me, if a tiny Measure can move Mountains?
Your Walk has a lot to do with it, Your Calling has to do with it. If you live Carnal Minded then your Faith will be limited, if you have been Called to do certain task for Jesus then your Faith may appear somewhat more. Some would argue that if you are an Apostle you have been given more than a Teacher or the rest of the body of Jesus. Let’s get something clear here, there is a Difference between Faith and Anointing even though they both walk hand-n-hand.
As for me, I have been Called by Jesus as an Apostle, it was not my choice, but it was my choice to accept the Calling. My Faith, is just like everyone else’s, but, my Faith can affect my Calling, in that case the Anointing takes over, other times it is dependent upon my Faith.
Faith Is The Walk Of Belief In Jesus!
“37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. 38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if [any man] draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. 39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition;
but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.”
Hebrews 10:37-39
We Live each day by Faith that we will do this or we will do that in a time that has not happened as yet. We go to bed in the belief that we have tomorrow, but there is no guarantee that we do, it is by Faith.
When I Speak about Jesus it is by Faith that I open my mouth and say the needed words for those to hear. My Anointing on the other hand gives me the Boldness In The Spirit to do so. By Faith I must take a Step into the unknown to make it known.
“1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.”
Hebrews 11:1-2
When the Evidence of My Faith does appear then it is a Verification Of Whom Jesus is in my Life, but my Faith remains the same. Jesus gave to us the Faith to Believe that He Is The Son Of God, that through Him All Things Are Possible. My Actions upon My Faith is a different story altogether. We have heard the saying that “Actions are stronger than words”, they can be, but should not be. Our Actions and Words should always walk Hand-n-Hand, neither of them compromising the other one.
I cannot say that I Believe God’s Holy Word, Speak God’s Holy Word and not have my Actions Speak the same, if it does, then I need to question Who I Am in Jesus.
“10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity. 11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, [therewith] to be content. 12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
Philippians 4:10-13
My Faith, My Actions, My Words must be equal. Faith Allows me to Stand when there is nothing to Stand upon. Faith Allows me to move when fear grips the body, Faith Allows me to Know Jesus, My Friend, My Savior, My Lord, Faith Allows me to come to the Alter of Forgiveness Boldly, without fear, Faith Allows me to Know The Father and The Holy Spirit… Faith Allows me to see Who I Am In Jesus.
In one sense you can look at Faith as the Conduit between Man and God. But it is By My Faith that Jesus is able to move In Me and Through Me and without My Faith, Jesus becomes Unfruitful In My Life!!!
“53 And it came to pass, [that] when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed thence. 54 And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this [man] this wisdom, and [these] mighty works? 55 Is not this the carpenter’s son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? 56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this [man] all these things? 57 And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house. 58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.”
Matthew 13:53-58
We have the Power and Authority to Stop God from moving in our Lives. The Act of Disobedience is probably the most renown to God in the World. We Say that we Love Jesus, but then we do not Act as though we do. We Allow the World to Justify Our Faith, Our Actions, and then cry to Jesus why He has not…, but it is Our Unfaithfulness that is the cause. There are many who’s Faith is based upon what Jesus can do for you, but your Faith is Vain!!! Jesus has done the Greatest Work For You and yet you are not satisfied with Him and in many cases blame Him for Your Actions Of Faith!!!
Our Brother Paul dealt with a similar case where he was accused of not being who he said he was, but only by word.
“8 For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed: 9 That I may not seem as if I would terrify you by letters. 10 For [his] letters, say they, [are] weighty and powerful; but [his] bodily presence [is] weak, and [his] speech contemptible. 11 Let such an one think this, that, such as we are in word by letters when we are absent, such [will we be] also in deed when we are present.”
2 Corinthians 10:8-11
Brothers and Sisters is Your Faith True To Jesus? Can anyone at any time say the same as Paul said about himself, that either by Word or by Deed I Am The Same! Our Faith should be an Oddity All of the Time, In All Places. Now because of the flesh there are times we will be weak and do or say things that are not Godly, that our Testimony is not of Who Jesus is in us, at those times be quick to Repent, to turn away from what has happened, seek Forgiveness both to Jesus and the other offender if possible.
“13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. 14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. 16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that [it is] good. 17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but [how] to perform that which is good I find not. 19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.”
Romans 7:13-20
True Faith is that Jesus is Lord, that Jesus is Our Savior in All Things even when we fall. Faith has no bounds in Jesus, but is by My Faith that I please The Living God Of My Salvation!
“But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
Hebrews 11:6
By Faith I am Transformed into the Person that Jesus wants me to be, but it takes My Faith in order for this Transformation to happen. It goes beyond just confessing Jesus. Jesus must be In You and Through You in All Circumstances of Every Minute of the day. Faith is the Fuel that keeps us going day-to-day; Jesus is The Motivator Of My Faith!
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
Galatians 2:20
I Must have Faith to Walk, Faith to Talk as Jesus would have me to do so, without it, I Am Dead In My Sins! Faith is an Action Word, you cannot sit idle and say you have Faith if the Walk does not Speak Likewise!
“Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.”
James 2:18
Your Faith Must not accept those things which are Ungodly by nature or to those who do not bring Glory To Jesus! I do not want to be accepted by the World, nor by Man, but I want My Faith to Speak Volumes about Jesus, that I am a Living Epistle, a Living Sacrifice for Jesus!
The question you Must Answer, Is Your Faith as Bright as the Son Is In You or have you hidden The Light from others to see? The Choice is yours, not Gods, not Satan’s, not Man’s, it is Totally Yours!!!
Amen and Amen!!!
Be Blessed in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Our Lord and Savor!!!
Amen and Amen!!!
