“24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. 26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.”
Matthew 16:24-27
Brothers and Sisters when we are Born Again, Saved and Redeemed, then there should be a change in Allegiance. There must be a Change Within that Must Be A Change Outwardly. Jesus said that we must “…take up his cross, and follow…” this is our Transformation Process. We must hold on to those things that Jesus says that we must do in our everyday lives. We need to understand that without Jesus all of mankind is lost, without us doing what we are called to do the world around us is lost. We must do our part in Gods Great Plan to bring the Lost To The Savior, to Sow Seeds Of Righteousness, to Harvest where good ground is and has produced fruit of Holiness.
“27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. 28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. 29 [Are] all apostles? [are] all prophets? [are] all teachers? [are] all workers of miracles? 30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? 31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.”
1 Corinthians 12:27-31
In Paul’s statement he is conveying that the Body Of Jesus is made up of Many, Many Members that all have been Redeemed By The Blood Of Jesus and there are Many, Many Gifts and Callings within these members. We do not all have the same gifts, the same callings but the one thing we all have been given is a Purpose To Glorify Jesus. Whether it is sweeping a floor and telling someone during that time that Jesus came to Save them, or if it is a CEO running a company, setting the foundation firmly upon the Chief Corner Stone, Jesus Lord Of All! It does not matter your Race, your Color, but it does matter in Your Obedience.
Jesus expects, demands, that we become Living Epistles to the World Around Us, that we shine the Light of Salvation to all of those who will listen. Wherever we are, whatever we are doing, we are to be Living Sacrifices to the Glory Of Jesus!!!
We are to Covet, to Earnestly Seek and Hold On To, to Crave, Desire to do the Work that Jesus has Called Us To Do in whatever circumstance that may be.
In order for this Transformation to happen, you must Surrender All To Jesus. So the question is How Do I Surrender All? Let me clarify what it is not or what it does not mean. To Surrender All To Jesus does not stop at Salvation, accepting Him as Savior, that is only the beginning of Your Walk. To Surrender does not mean you go to church every Sunday or whenever the doors are open. It does not mean that you are involved with every program at church. But what it does mean is that Everything In Your Life Belongs To Jesus and that nothing is without His Control.
An example: hold both of your hands as far above your head as you can, to those who are able, to those who are not able then you must mentally vision this. With your hands above your heads, open and spread apart you cannot hold on to anything, it is impossible. That is a Surrendered Life, that is Your Walk!
Jesus gave us the Greatest example.
“Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me:
nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.”
Luke 22:42
In all things that you do and say it should always be with Jesus as the First Thought in your mental process. Back some time ago it used to be WWJD (What Would Jesus Do) acronym and it still applies for now. These means that Jesus is Asked First Before Your Actions, In Your Actions and After Your Actions. Your Walk is a Continuous Communication Line that has no end. Now before anyone gets smart, this does not mean that I need to ask Jesus if I can take a drink of water or eat my dinner, but it can entail the Where or Who With.
If you are Spiritually Led then you are Continuously Thinking about what Jesus Wants. That is, Jesus Is The First Thought In My Thinking Process. Does this mean it is always this way, NO! We still live in the flesh and at times you may not put Jesus above your desires, your thoughts and your actions are not that which would Glorify Jesus. In those times Repentance needs to happen!
Let me use my own Life as an example here. When I seek employment, I ask Jesus for His Guidance in finding one, that He will Lead Me to Where He Desires Me To Be! It is not just “Lord help me find a job” or “Lord I need to support my family”, it goes beyond that. I know that My Life belongs to Jesus that I am His Vessel to use Where Ever, How Ever Jesus Chooses, so my prayer is “Lord lead me to Where You want me to be to Glorify Your Name”, in doing this, I must Let Go of my fleshly desires and allow Jesus to Lead Me Where He Needs Me to Testify Of Him. You must also understand that I must Stay until Jesus says I can leave, and then I must be Ready and Willing to leave. It is not easy, I have bills that need to be paid just like everyone else does, but, to Walk A Surrendered Life then this is the course of actions I must take.
Another example of my Life. My wife that I have was not by chance, but was by Devine Guidance. When I sought the Lord Jesus for a helpmate it was not only to take of fleshly desires but was to have a wife that would Glorify Him. In one of my jobs that I had my wife worked at the same place. At first we did not like each other, we had ill thoughts of each other because of our jobs. I worked in the IT Department and she was a File Clerk there was a conflict of interest because of it. Also my Religious Beliefs and my wife’s Religious Beliefs were not the same. I hope you caught what I just said, “My…” were not the same. When the Lord Jesus said she was to be my wife I had to question The Lord because of “MY Religious Beliefs Of Conflict”. Jesus answered me in this fashion, “What does it take to be Saved?”. My answer was to Believe and Confess Jesus as Lord, Jesus answer was, “So, what is the problem?”. The answer took me by surprise, I now had to examine “My Beliefs” and realize that “My Beliefs” were based upon False Teachings. I had to Repent and Accept my wife that Jesus Led Me To.
The point is this, My Walk, Is and Has Everything to do with Jesus Being Lord, not just Savior!!! I have to Live a Crucified Life.
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
Galatians 2:20
It is not easy, nor is it fun at times, but is hard because of the flesh. My flesh cry’s out, my surroundings cry out, people I know cry out and say… do this or do that, but I must be Obedient To Jesus First! My Blood Bought Life belongs to Jesus, He paid a price for My Salvation. If He says to go and do then who am I to question Jesus, but that it may only be for understanding.
Brothers and Sisters you do not know if you will be the last person someone might see or speak with, that it is you who carries the message of Jesus to them, that Salvation might occur or that their lives may have direction to draw them closer to Jesus, to build a Relationship with Him!
If you Harden Your Heart to the Leading of The Holy Spirit, to The Direction that Jesus gives then Jesus will allow you to do so and you will answer for your actions when you see Jesus Face to Face.
Your Walk all comes down to this… How much do you Love Jesus? How much of Your Life belongs to Jesus?
“And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me,
is not worthy of me.”

Brothers and Sisters you Lives speaks volumes on How Much Your Love Jesus and Your Life belongs to Jesus. We all have to answer for Our Lives and how we lived them.
“11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. 14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.”
1 Corinthians 3:11-15
I Want, I Desire to hear Jesus say to me that I have done the Work that He had given me to do, that I Walked The Life that He Desired me to Walk!!!
“His lord said unto him, Well done, [thou] good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”
Matthew 25:21
“31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth [his] sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.”
