To Be Like God

Brothers and Sisters, do know that We are to Be Like God? Everything that We are made up to be, should be a Walking Reflection Of Jesus. Yes, Jesus is Our Sacrifice to The Father, washing Us Clean Of Sin, so that We may have a Relationship with God (The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit), but Jesus was also Our Example in How To Live!!!

 

Matthew 5:48 KJV

“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”

1 Peter 1:16 KJV

“Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”

Leviticus 20:7 KJV

“Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I [am] the LORD your God.”

 

So then, We have No More Excuse, for it is Written, Let it Be Done!!! Now the question comes, How are We to be Perfect and Holy? The last Scripture tells us How! We, Must Sanctify Ourselves To Be Like God…

 

Sanctify Definition: To sanctify means to make something holy, purify it from sin, or set it apart for a sacred purpose. While primarily a religious term used for consecrating objects or cleansing the soul, it is also used more broadly to describe making a practice or custom socially and officially acceptable.

 

When We Accepted Jesus as Our Savior, He Cleansed Our Spirits and has made Us Clean and all of the Sin’s that We have Committed with Our Soul’s have been Forgiven. But, from that point forward, it is Our Responsibility to Keep Our Souls Perfect and Holy Before God!!!

 

Paul gives Us the Walk, the Process, to be Holy and Perfect.

 

Romans 12:1-2 KJV

“¹ I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service. ² And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

 

Jesus said that He would Send the Comforter, The Holy Spirit, to Teach Us All Things and to Remind Us How WE are to Walk! Because alone, We are Powerless to Walk Perfect and Holy!!!

 

John 14:26 KJV

“But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

 

Many of You, who are Born Again, Blood Bought, have Used Scripture as an Excuse to NOT Be Perfect and Holy, saying we Live in a Sinful Body! Though this is True, it is NOT an Excuse that will be Accepted By Jesus!!

 

Romans 6:1-4 KJV

“¹ What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? ² God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? ³ Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? ⁴ Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”

 

Many of You, use the following Scriptures as an Excuse to Sin, Not Walking Holy, being Perfect before Jesus….

 

Romans 7:14-25 KJV

“¹⁴ For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. ¹⁵ For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. ¹⁶ If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that [it is] good. ¹⁷ Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. ¹⁸ For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but [how] to perform that which is good I find not. ¹⁹ For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. ²⁰ Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. ²¹ I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. ²² For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: ²³ But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. ²⁴ O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? ²⁵ I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.”

 

These Scriptures are NOT an Excuse to let Sin Reign, but in these Scriptures gives You, Brothers and Sisters, Born Again, Blood Bought, a way to Fight Against Sin!!! This is Why that the Scriptures Romans 12: 1-2 are so important, for WE Must Renew Our Minds to Think and React the same way that God does to Sin!!! Our Minds are the Biggest Battle Ground that We Have!! Does The Scripture not tell us that Satan Throws Firey Darts….Where do you think he is throwing them at? It is Your Mind!!! If he can get You to Believe What he throws at You, then, Sin Is Abound!!!

 

Does Not Your Thoughts Control Who You Are and What You Do? It is the Same With The Scriptures, they may Say to Do or Not To Do, but yet, they Have No Control over me, unless I Give Control To Them!!!

 

Romans 6:16 KJV

“Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?”

 

Like the Scriptures that says We are One Body, that there is One Father, One Savior, One Word, but yet Because of Sin, We, Brothers and Sisters are Divided, each having THEIR OWN INTERPRETATION on How To Live!!! Do You really think that The Holy Spirit, that Jesus, is going to tell The Baptist One Way To Live, then tell The Pentecostal Another Way Completely Different??? Are YOU MAD or Is God MAD???!!!

 

The Church has been Divided since Jesus Cleansed it, thanks to Satan and Our, OUR Beliefs, NOT Gods!!! Satan even went a Step further to Assure that WE would be Divided, he Created Multi Versions Of The Bible, that, Non Agree!!! This is the catch…..they were Created from the Same Dead Sea Scrolls, it least some of them, others are made as an Interpretation NOT a Translation!!!

 

The Church, Born Again, Blood Bought, has fallen deep into an Illusion Of Satan’s Will, that All We Need Is Love! Because God is a God Of Love, it has been Mis-Interpretated as No Matter the Sin, it is Covered and because it is Covered, We, The Church will Accept Anyone Into The Sanctity Of The Born Again!!!

 

So then, We have Allowed Homosexuals to enter the church and fight for their rights, causing a Great Fall Within The Body, as well as Abortion, which was the First Step, then Woman’s Rights. See Satan could not Hit The Body Of Christ with All of his plans at once, he had to slowly introduce them until he could get The Church To Fall and now We are there!!!

 

If You, Church, Born Again, Blood Bought, WANT to Be Holy, WANT to Be Perfect, then, You must First find a True Interpretation Of The Scriptures, then You need to Study the Word using a Greek and Hebrew Dictionaries  and a Concordance to Understand The Truth, then LIVE BY THE WORD!!!

 

It is Your Choice, God will NOT Force you to Live as He Says, He can Show You, but the Choice is Ours Called Free Will!!! I would really, Really think about This Scripture…
