The Great Pretender

Greetings Brother’s and Sister’s, In The Mighty Name of Jesus, The Christ!!!

“⁸ This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with [their] lips; but their heart is far from me. ⁹ But in vain they do worship me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men.”

Matthew 15:8-9

Brothers and Sisters beware of The Great Pretender who is in your every day walk. They say they are Christians, they say they go to Church, they say they read their Bibles, they can even quote you Scriptures, but in reality they are far from Jesus, doing their own thing, Living Their Life in a Cloak Of Deceit.

A True Born Again, Blood Bought, will bear Fruit of such an Event that Jesus Forgave Them Of Their Sins and now their lives are changed into Ambassadors, Heaven being Their Country and Jesus being Their King. They are Compelled to Speak The Name of Jesus and being lead by The Holy Spirit to Speak the Oracles Of God to whomever they are led to.

Jesus said that if we Deny Him before men, then He will Deny us before The Father…

“But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.”

Matthew 10:33

Now what is Denial? The Biggest Meaning of Denial is Not Speaking. With this Denial can come a Cloak Of Deception, The Great Pretender. In this case that we are referring to is those who Will Not or Do Not Speak about their Relationship With Jesus and who Do Not Tell Others About Jesus.

It is an amazement how many people say they are a Christian, but their Lives do not produce the Fruit of one who gave their Life To Jesus.

Twelve years ago we moved into the house we now live in, it was where The Holy Spirit led us to. Within a few weeks, The Holy Spirit told me Who I was to Bear Witness to, and it was not all of our neighbors. There is one neighbor that Our Lord Jesus wanted me to Bear Witness to more than all the others and for Twelve Years my wife and I have Born Witness to. You need to Understand this neighbor that we Witness to Smokes, Drink, Curses, does Drugs and many other things, but they Respect Us because of Our Witness. Yesterday I needed to help this neighbor and once again was prompted by The Holy Spirit to Bear Witness to them, so in the time frame that I was helping them, I told them about Jesus even greater then I have before. The neighbor told me of some “Christians” that they know, that they have talked to and are somewhat friends, longer then we have lived where we do… NOT ONE of them ever talked about Jesus in all of the years they have known them! They are The Great Pretenders!! Now, just so you understand, we have Born Witness to our neighbor at the very least, once a year and in some years many times and what I mean about Bear Witness, they have been told about Jesus, the Very Name Of Jesus every time.

I need, Jesus Needs, you to Understand that it is not just because of our Outward Appearance, but that it is in Word and Deed that we Bear Witness, meaning that Jesus Has To Be Spoken…NOT ASSUMED! We can do all manner of Works, but if Jesus is not Spoken to the Reason Why, then they are JUST GOOD WORKS…that The World can and does do as well.

In order for US to Bear Witness, we must First Be In Love With Jesus, and Second Deny Ourselves of those things that are Not Acceptable To Jesus.

“²³ And he said to [them] all, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. ²⁴ For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. ²⁵ For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? ²⁶ For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and [in his] Father’s, and of the holy angels.”

Luke 9:23-26

For an example, let say there is a church that uses a building, other than their church building, to have a Soup Kitchen for the poor. Every day of the week, except Sunday, they are open from morning to evening feeding the poor. The workers are mixed with those from the church and those from The World serving the poor every day. They have been doing this for twenty years now…but Not Once did they ever tell anyone about Jesus. Instead they would do commits like “Be Blessed” or “…Our church …”, but never speaking that it is Jesus for THE REASON for their acts. They are The Great Pretender!

I tell people all of the time I Do What I Do Because Of Jesus, I Live Where I Live Because Of Jesus those around me KNOW that Jesus is my Lord!

So, The Great Pretender, hides their Candle So It Cannot Be Seen By Others, Why… because they are Afraid Of The Out Come. They themselves may Believe in Jesus and have Accepted Him as Savior but they cannot bear the Persecution They May Receive, by others or by government. They hid within the shadows of Their Faith.

Jesus said that when we Accept Him as Lord and Savior that we are to Bear Witness that The Whole World would see…

“¹⁴ Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. ¹⁵ Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. ¹⁶ Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Matthew 5:14-16

Another Attribute of The Great Pretender is that they Pick and Choose what to Believe about God’s Holy Word, that it Fits Their Life and How They Want To Live It. They will find a church, a people, that will have the Same Beliefs, that can Agree With Them and Avoid certain areas of God’s Holy Word so they cannot become convicted of their sins.

“³ For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; ⁴ And they shall turn away [their] ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”

2 Timothy 4:3-4

The World is dying and WE, The Church, are allowing it. People need Authenticated Believers, those who are willing to Stand Up for what is Right and Wrong according to God’s Word, by Gods Word through The Holy Spirit. The World sees Christians as Fake, Living a Fantasy, Speaking Lies all because we are Divided and Cannot Agree about Jesus.

Brothers and Sisters we Must Stop Living A Lie, we Must Stop Being The Great Pretender and let all of those around us Know That Jesus Is The Reason, it is Not your church, it is Not Your Doctrine, it is Not Your Beliefs, but IT IS Jesus, His Word!

We, Brothers and Sisters have been given the Greatest Gift, Our Salvation through Jesus, who’s Blood was shed to Washing Away Of Sin and because of Our Faith In Him, we will be in Heaven, being Presented To The Father, but we have a Responsibility because of this. We are to Speak The Name Of Jesus for every Reason Of How We Live, having The Word Bear Witness to Our Account.

We, Brothers and Sisters WE need to Speak The Truth, that it is Only Jesus that we can go to Heaven, that there is No Other Way, that it does not matter what church to belong to, it does not matter how many thing you do for your church or what you do in your church, it does not matter what The World Believes, but it does matter in What Jesus Has Spoken and Is Speaking. Jesus at Judgment Day will take the Book Of Life and see if our name is Written therein and then He will take the Events Of Our Life and Weigh Them To The Word that has been Spoken and Written, We, Brothers and Sisters will Stand For Trial On How We Lived Our Lives, if it was True To The Word or did we just Pretend!

“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

Matthew 4:4

Understand this, that it Does Not Matter what YOU BELIEVE IS TRUE, because the Only Truth is Jesus and His Word that The Father Taught Him, this is what We Will Be Judged By, Pretending will not work in any form come Judgment Day.

Some of you need to Repent for not Living as you are supposed to, some need to Repent for being The Great Pretender around others. As I told my neighbor, today is the Day Of Salvation, I CANNOT Guarantee Tomorrow or even one minute from now, now is Your Opportunity, this very second…you could be dead after reading this, facing Judgment for How You Have Lived!

As Jesus told the Scribes and Pharisees, you have no more cloak to hid behind, The True Has Been Revealed!

“If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.”

John 15:22
