“With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:”
Ephesians 6:7
Brothers and Sisters whatever we Do or Say let it all be done with Jesus in the Forefront of Your Minds, Your Hearts and minds with Full Intent to Please Jesus before Men. If Jesus is not the First Thought in most of what you Do or Say then you have an issue and you may have many masters that dictate who you are!
When we Accept Jesus into Our Lives, there should be a Transformation that takes place. First it will be your Spirit Washed by The Blood of Jesus. The Second Transformation YOU must make and decide to do deals with your Soul and Flesh. The Scriptures tells us that when we Accept Jesus that All Things Become New. Most believe that all things are new and there is no old left, this is a lie from Satan. Now let me make something clear here, there can be some Instant Transformation in the Soul and Flesh and in many cases there are, but for the most part because of Our Free Will we decide what will change in Our Lives.
“Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
2 Corinthians 5:17
The keys in this Scripture are Three Fold. First we must Accept Jesus as Lord, second our Sins against God are Passed Away and because of that the third thing is All Things Are Become New! Become is an Action Word, it a word meaning ‘In Process’.
“1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Romans 12:1-2
We must make a Decision to be Transformed from the Life we once had to the New Life Jesus has given us. There is a difference in making Jesus Savior and making Jesus Lord, the two can be separated even though they should not ever be. There are those who Believe in Jesus and have Accepted Jesus into their lives as Savior, but they have Refused to make Him Lord of Their Lives. I cannot speak to their Salvation, which is up to the Lord Jesus to determine, but I can say according to Scripture it is in question.
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
Galatians 2:20
Being Crucified With Christ is that our Sins have been Washed Away, the “I Am” is a Choice to Live our Lives with Jesus Being The Head of Everything that touches Our Lives. Paul had to make a choice to Follow, to Follow The Life Style Jesus had Chosen For Him, he could have continued to live as he had before. Just as Paul, we must come to the Understanding that to be Christ Like, we must Change from one point of view to God’s Point of View, that we put Jesus First in All Things!
“25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. 26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27 Neither give place to the devil. 28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with [his] hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. 29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”
Ephesians 4:25-32
Some of you have Grieved The Holy Spirit by your Words, your Actions and you need to Repent. Do you not understand that The Holy Spirit is with you 24/7 until we get to Heaven and do not also understand that The Holy Spirit will Bear Witness to whom we are in Jesus!
Most of you make decisions based upon your Fleshly Desires and Not To The Will of Jesus! Most of you say you will do this or you will do that without any thought towards what Jesus Wants You To Do.
“13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: 14 Whereas ye know not what [shall be] on the morrow. For what [is] your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. 15 For that ye [ought] to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. 16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.”
James 4:13-16
I will give you a couple of my own Life examples. The first is that when I seek employment is ask Jesus for His Direction and Guidance in getting a job, not to just give me a job to satisfy my flesh, but that in my job I will be doing Jesus Will, that is Doing and Saying what He Desires. The second is here recently I have come to the conclusion that there are too many things that I need to get done around my house, but, I took the time to Ask Jesus What Should I Do? The Lord Jesus gave me direction in what to do First… and that I will do.
My point, God’s Point is that if you Make Jesus Lord, then All of your Decisions will be according to His Will, not yours.
Jesus gave us the greatest example of this in the Garden of Gethsemane…
“Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.”
Luke 22:42
Jesus Asked, did not receive His Request, and He then Submitted To The Fathers Will. For us it is the same, “Jesus, Can I?”, “Will You?” but if You Do Not, It Does Not Matter, “I Will Do Thy Will In My Life”. “I will BE the Example to others as You have been to me”. “I Work For You, Jesus” not others…
Jesus told us to Ask, Seek and Knock to Receive His Will, but so many Ask, Seek and Knock according to their own will and are led astray because of it.
“Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume [it] upon your lusts.”
James 4:3
We have been Bought and Paid for By The Blood Of Jesus, we Belong To Jesus to Do His Will, He Is Our Boss! I Chose to Work For Jesus, He is Above My Life, My Wife, My Children, My Friends, My Job, My Education, My Will, that means that Nothing Stands Between Me and Jesus!
Jesus said this profound thing, Your Actions Will Confuse Your Love For Me! Wow, that is a Hard thing, it is a Convicting Statement, that My Actions Show Who I Work For!
“If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
John 14:15
Let’s make this clear. Some of you will say, “Jesus has not given me a Commandment…”, transfer the word Commandments to My Will, My Desire and Anything that Jesus has said, is a Commandment to you, it Is His Will, it Is His Desire, that is, if He Is Lord!
“22 Servants, obey in all things [your] masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God: 23 And whatsoever ye do, do [it] heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; 24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. 25 But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.”
Colossians 3:22-25
If you Work for Jesus, He can Ask Of You Anything and your Response will be, “Yes Lord Jesus, Thy Will Be Done!” The Lord has brought to mind when He first was Directing my steps to my Calling that I was not aware of at the time. I just knew there was a draw on my life to Serve Jesus. I had confessed my desire to the Pastor at that time and his response was “You Have To Go To School….”. I was heart broken, because I was poor, living day to day. The Lord Jesus spoke and said that He would Teach me His Will and not the will of men, that even as He taught Moses it would be with me. So, I have been taught at The Masters Hand, only because I Made Jesus Lord!
Examine your Life, if you cannot put The Name Of Jesus before each item in your Life, then you have an issue. Where you are and what you are doing should be because Jesus is Lord of Your Life and that He has a Plan To Glorify His Name.
I Live where I am at because Jesus said to Live where I am and I have Glorified Jesus to my neighbors. I Work where I work because Jesus said to take this job and I have Glorified Jesus to my co-workers, I Drive the vehicle I have because Jesus said to take this vehicle and I have Glorified Jesus in my Vehicle, I Buy things for my Wife because Jesus says to buy this or that to Glorify Jesus being Obedient To His Direction, I go on a Trip because I Asked Jesus if I Can or Can Not. Jesus is First in All Things!!!
Does this mean that I am Perfect, NO I AM NOT! I fail in many, many things, but in my failures I Seek Jesus that with my failures He Will Be Glorified! On my job I know my fleshly limits, each day I Ask Jesus for His Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding that I can Do My Best to be A Witness For Him to others. I have found that I cannot Live Without Jesus being at the helm of My Life.
The question is this…, Whom Do You Work For? Is Jesus Really Lord of Your Life, or do you only run to Him when you cannot figure out what to do or you are in trouble.
“7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9 But the wise answered, saying, [Not so]; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.”
Matthew 25:7-13
The Wise Virgins prepared for the Coming of The Lord each and every day, while the foolish did their own thing until the last minute, when it was too late. Even though they called Jesus Lord, Jesus said “I Know You Not.”
Again, Whom Do You Work For? The choice is yours!
