“[Even] by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:”
Genesis 49:25
Brothers and Sisters this Word was about Joseph, and it is given for us this day for us to learn and grasp. We are Blessed beyond measure, Blessed beyond Comprehension! Some of you do not realize the Blessings that Jesus has given us on a Daily Basis, nor the Blessings that await us in Heaven.
“27 What I tell you in darkness, [that] speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, [that] preach ye upon the housetops. 28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.”
Matthew 10:27-31
God makes sure that the Birds are taken care of and He knows their Lives and He knows their Death. But we, The Blood Bought, By Jesus, The Christ are of More Value than anything in this World. We are Blessed in that we Can Face tomorrow knowing that Jesus has gone before us and has prepared Our Path to His Glory!
“NUN. Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
Psalm 119:105
“Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted [with] all my ways.”
Psalm 139:3
“16 For if the firstfruit [be] holy, the lump [is] also [holy]: and if the root [be] holy, so [are] the branches. 17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; 18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.”
Romans 11:16-18
Joseph was taught to follow God, to Trust God and Live As God would have him. He was Favored above his brothers and was made an outcast becoming a Hidden Blessing to them. If we Live according to God’s Holy Word, we will be an Outcast, rejected, but in that to many we will be their Hidden Blessing. Through our being Outcast in the World, in our Daily Walk we Become A Blessing to those around us, because We Are Blessed!
Many of you weight your Blessings according to Worldly Standards and not by The Spirit Of God. Sometimes our Blessings come in Pain, Sorrow, Rejection and even the Potential Of Death. Joseph was filled with all of these things because of his brothers, because he was favored.
When I had my heart attack some years ago, it appeared as a curse, as a punishment, as God did not Love me in some sense. But I Found that through my heart attack, I had become even more Blessed, than I was before. Because of my heart attack many things changed in my Life and all of those around me. God moved in ways that only He can move and take full credit for. Through my event I have seen Hearts Change, Emotions Flourish and Compassion spring forth as water from a spring. My Blessing was not in Material Things, but was and is in the Relationship that I have with Jesus, that through Him my Relationships with others grew. My heart attack could have taken me Home, but instead, Jesus had a Greater Plan for my Life, many others that I need to speak to, that needed to be an example for.
“25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?”
Matthew 6:25-27
Even though I am very Blessed with a Beautiful Wife and children, a House, a Car, a Truck and many other material things, my Real Blessings are when I am Obedient To God’s Word. Jesus Speaks and I try to do my Best to fulfill His Request above My Life. I have found that if I just let go of this World and truly have Faith In Jesus, that He takes care of me, and in taking care of me, He takes care of My Wife, our Material Things. All of our children are grown and on their own and being as such, must obtain Favor from the Lord Jesus even as we have found Favor In Jesus.
I MUST WALK, HAVING FAITH BEYOND COMPREHENSION!
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen.”
Hebrews 11:1
I must have faith for All of my Blessings that I will yet obtain, those I have not even seen yet. But in order for me to Receive Those Blessings, I must Walk In Faith, In Jesus that He is MY ALL! When I am Obedient, then in my Obedience I am Showing God’s Love to the World in ways that are beyond understanding, bring forth Blessings in their Lives and in my own Life as well.
Now understand this. I do not do the things that I do to receive a Blessing, but I do those things because I Love Jesus and because of my Love for Jesus, I am Blessed! Jesus goes Before me, Jesus is Beside me and Jesus is my Rear Guard. I Walk knowing that I am Blessed In Jesus and that all that I Do and Say are a Blessing to Him.
Our Lives are to be a Witness, a Testimony to the Greatness Of The Father, through Jesus and The Holy Spirit. We are Blessed, but do not always look for the Blessings of Material Things, but rather, in the Profound Relationship you have with Jesus!
