“1) Now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum. 2) And a certain centurion’s servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and ready to die. 3) And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant. 4) And when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying, That he was worthy for whom he should do this: 5) For he loveth our nation, and he hath built us a synagogue. 6) Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof: 7) Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed. 8) For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth [it]. 9) When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. 10) And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick.”
St Luke 7:1 – 10
We say… “We have Faith”, but do we really? I have found that Faith, in itself is very Demanding, yet very Simple and yet again very Complex.
It is Demanding in the sense that we Must Have It to please God.
“6 )But without faith [it is] impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and [that] He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him”
Hebrews 11:6
Yet, it is very Simple, that even a Child can understand. This is at its Best, to be as a little child, to have no worry’s, knowing that Our Heavenly Father will take care of us in All Situations.
“1) At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? 2) And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, 3) And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 4) Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5) And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.”
St Matthew 18:1 -5
Last is Complex. We must be Diligent about our Faith, We Must Grow in the Understanding of our Faith, We Must Solidify Our Faith by Situtations that Arise in Our Lives. Faith…is an Action. The following Scripture bares the Understanding:
“23) If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. 24) And He said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given. 25) For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.”
St Mark 4:23 – 25
Our Lord Jesus, is not talking about if you can hear Him, He is saying Do You Believe in Him as Lord and Savior. Take the above Scripture, just to see, replace the “hear” with Believe. It should bring a Greater Understanding.
Right before I recieved my new job, I was questioning why I spent some much Time and Effort on Facebook and Blogging. I was to a point, I did not want to do it any more because of All the False Doers, that wanted to be Reconized or Those who Maniplated Others, or Those Who just want a Social Life. Myself, I want to Glorify Jesus, that the Father will be Glorified as well. Out of the 5,000 people that I minister to, maybe 7 % really Listen or even Care what God really has to say.
We Live in a very Anti-Christian World, and it’s going to get worse. Everthing is pushing Christians into a Position of Rebeling. Myself, I will Lay Down my Life to see Jesus Glorified without hesitation. I do Understand the Demanding, Simple and Complexity of Faith, I have been tried many, many times. Sometimes I fail, but even in my failure, I Glorify Jesus in Repentance, Being Diligent in Seeking Him!
Be Blessed in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Our Lord and Savior!!!
Amen and Amen!!!
