Prayer, It’s Time For War!!! conclusion

This week I will conclude in the series of Prayer. Here are the Scriptures that I will use to base this conclusion.

“12) Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. 13) But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. 14) Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.”

Daniel 10:12 – 14

“21) Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. 22) And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”

Matthew 21:21 – 22

Let us consider Daniel first. He was in a peril and needed an answer and He was Seeking God and expected an answer for the God that he served, nothing less, nothing more. Daniel was prepared for War, 1st, he had to get his Hear Right before God. When it says that, “…set thine…” it is referring to an Attitude of Not Giving Up, Pressing forward for an answer, Not Moving Until a Answer was Understood. The 2nd thing to look at, “…chasten thyself before thy God…”. Daniel had to make sure his Heart was Right before God, he had to repent of all and any sin that would come between him and His God. The 3rd thing to look at “…I am come for thy words.”, Daniel had to be aware of what he was requesting, they were not just idol words, they were words of Honesty, Respect, Favor and Love for His God and His People. The 4th thing we need to look at and have a understanding. Daniel, prayed, 21 days before getting anything. For 21 days, Daniel prayed, seeking God and not getting an answer to his problem, Daniel, had to Press In and Not Give Up, Expecting a Answer.

Now let us look at what our Lord Jesus said. Jesus, the Author and Finisher of Our Faith, says, “…If ye have faith and doubt not…”. We have to 1st have Faith that God is More than Able to Accomplish what we ask and the binding of Not To Doubt not matter the Length Of Time. Jesus never said you could have instant mash potatos! He said Have Faith and Believe! There was no Time Constraint! The 2nd part that Jesus is showing us, it the Authority He has given us. That things of this World are Subject to Us, the same as it is to Him. I remember a time when I was first understanding this, that a storm was coming in and the wind was blowing really hard. The Lord reminded me of this scripture, so, I went outside and commanded the winds to cease, and they stopped instantly. The Lord was teaching me, the Authority that He had given to us. The 3rd thing which ties everything, Pray, Believe and Receive! Now, I am not one of those “Speak it, Receive it”, people. Those who do that, do not understand what Jesus was saying in this scripture. Jesus was not teaching anything different then what Daniel had done or any of the Great People of the Bible have done.

There is something’s that I need to elaborate upon, we have Kingdom Authority that Jesus has given to us to use to His Glory and According to His Will. What does that mean? It means that you cannot pray for a million dollars and expect God to give it to you, because more than likely, He will not! There are at least two things as mentioned, His Glory, His Will, they both have to be working hand-n-hand. The reason that I did what I did, was because Jesus need to Teach me about Authority, that does not mean that if I see a storm coming every time that I can command it to cease. But what it does mean, is I have Authority from Jesus to do His Work here on earth. That can mean and work many, many different ways. Those of us who have been truly Called into one of the Five Offices, understand not to abuse our authority, not to lead people astray and to bring understanding to those who seek the truth. There are countless reasons why our prayers are sometimes appearing they are not being answered. In the case of Daniel, there was a huge Spiritual Battle going on that Daniel was not aware of. There are times we ask a mist. In other words, we really do not understand what we are asking for. Sometimes, God, has to arrange things to His Glory and Our Benefit and it takes time. Other times, just as with Daniel, Satan does not want you to receive a answer and he will do whatever he can to stop the answer. The one thing that we must not do is give up. Even Silence is a answer. I will give you my latest battle. I have been praying for a job for 2 yrs. I have put out over 3000 resumes, talked to countless people in interviews, had many, many head hunters looking for me a job…but, there was nothing. I tried job’s that I was over qualified for, jobs I was under qualified for, jobs of varies conditions to the one I thought I needed. It has been hard, it has been long…but, My God, Will and Has looked out for my best interest and for His Glory! No wear did God ever say, believe in me and you will be on easy street, no wear! But what He has said, is you must Humble Your Selves, Confess Your Sins and Repent, Ask, Believing You Will Receive a Answer…have Faith, that the very God you serve, hears you and has your life in the palm of His hands. One more thing, not all Answered Prayers are good by our understanding. One example is when someone is dying, out human emotions are to pray for their healing, but, it may be God’s Will that they go home. How can I say this…my mother was on her death bed, she had fallen or passed out. I had to hurry to my grandmothers, where she was staying, pick my mom up and place her on a couch. As I did this, I knew by the Holy Spirit it was time for her to go home, so my prayer was not, ” Lord heal her”, but was, “Lord take her home, deliver her from all her pain and suffering”, was it hard, yes it was, but it was the right thing to do and was according to God’s Will. We must learn how, what and when to Pray According to His Will, not ours. Once you learn that, then you press in and do not stop until He Answers!!!

Be Blessed in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Our Lord and Savor!!!

Amen and Amen!!!
