1 Corinthians 1:26-29 KJV
“26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, [are called]: 27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, [yea], and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.”
Psalm 147:3 KJV
“He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.”
We, Brothers and Sisters are the Foolish that Jesus has chosen, We, Brothers and Sisters are the Weak Things of this World that Jesus has chosen. But in that we are Foolish and Weak will become Mighty In Jesus if We allow Him to do so. Jesus will take your Broken Heart, the Foolishness that created a Broken Vessel and through your Brokenness Jesus will Create a Master Piece worth more than anything in the World!
In order for this to happen, We Brothers and Sisters must Surrender to The Hand Of Jesus and Allow Him to make changes that we do not understand.
Sometimes we Must be Broken in order to Live, in order for Our Lives to Glorify Jesus. We must Understand that the Brokenness, the Foolish things may for a time seem to destroy us, seem to lead us to devastation with no answers to the why. Jesus see’s the Beginning and the End of every path, every situation that We, Brothers and Sisters will encounter. Then at times we question the Why. Why did I have to Suffer, Why did I have to go through this Situation, Why must I go through to receive a Broken Heart, Why…Lord?
If we look for an answer in the Flesh, we will not find the answers we are looking for, but instead we will find confusion and rejection towards Jesus. We Must Trust Jesus that there is a reason that sometimes goes beyond Fleshly Understanding and we Must Walk In The Spirit of God in Hope and Faith.
We need to Understand Brothers and Sisters that sometimes the Sorrow, the Grief, the Situation we are going through are because of How We Are Living, that it is Us who brought this about and Not Jesus, we need to Repent.
Isaiah 59:2 KJV
“But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid [his] face from you, that he will not hear.”
Sometimes we go through situations, having No Understanding because we can only See what is in front of our eyes, like not being able to see a single tree, but a forest. But if we Trust Jesus that He has Our Best Interest at hand, then when we get to the end we will find an answer to our prayers.
John 10:10 KJV
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.”
Psalm 119:105 KJV
“NUN. Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
Proverbs 3:5 KJV
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
Sometimes we are told to do something without understanding and when we are done, We question did I hear Jesus correctly, because we see No Reason. But then we find that Days, Weeks, Months or Years later that the action we took played a part in the future, that may or may not affect you directly.
There was once a time that I taught a class in church for boys and there was one boy that was unruly, stubborn, but out of Obedience I continued to teach this boy along with the other boys. A Few years later I left that church and got established in another, about Ten Years later, I had a knock at the door and when I opened the door here stood this one boy, the unruly, stubborn boy all grown up. He began thanking me for being his teacher and what a difference it made in his life that I took the time to teach him, he was Walking as a Born Again Believer because of my Obedience to Jesus Without Understanding.
There have been many times in my Life that The Lord told me to do things that I had No understanding behind why I was doing them and in most cases I found out later in time Why I did those things.
But what about the Hard Times? Sometimes as mentioned above it is because of Our Sin, Our Disobedience that has caused the Hard Time and we need to repent. Sometimes Hard Times come at the hands of others, even from those whom we have trusted and we ask Jesus to help us during those times…and there is… silence or there is “Trust Me”. This may go on for Days, Weeks, Months, even Years before an answer comes. But the one hidden part that we sometimes fail to Understand is that in order for some things to change it takes time or that whatever you have prayed needs to be Created for your situation.
Sometimes going through the Hard Times is bringing Change into Your Life that could only happen by going through those Hard Times, to bring a Greater and Closer Relationship between you and Jesus. Sometimes we go through Hard Times because there is Someone Watching, Learning whom is this Jesus We Serve.
Our Brother Paul gives us a the best passages of Hard Times…
2 Corinthians 11:22-30 KJV
“22 Are they Hebrews? so [am] I. Are they Israelites? so [am] I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so [am] I. 23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I [am] more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft. 24 Of the Jews five times received I forty [stripes] save one. 25 Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep; 26 [In] journeyings often, [in] perils of waters, [in] perils of robbers, [in] perils by [mine own] countrymen, [in] perils by the heathen, [in] perils in the city, [in] perils in the wilderness, [in] perils in the sea, [in] perils among false brethren; 27 In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness. 28 Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches. 29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not? 30 If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities.”
Paul’s Hard Times were for Three Reasons, one for the sake of others to be saved, two because of suffering in his own body that The Lord would not heal, but used them to keep Paul Humble and third, which is above all the other reasons, to bring Glory To Jesus.
We, Brothers and Sisters are the Odd Balls Of God! The World, Satan and even those who are sheep in wolves clothing would have us do things differently, to take matters into our own hands. But we, who are The Blood Bought go through such things in Love and Obedience to Jesus, Our Lord and Savior. We Walk in Faith not always seeing what lies ahead, nor having understanding why we must go through such things, but if we Endure to the end, we will find the Blessings of Jesus, The Glory Of The Lord in our midst!!!
My Brothers and Sisters think not that you are alone in your times of a Lack Of Understanding, but first know that Jesus knows your situation and will answer in His Time, His Way. Also Understand that others in the World go through times of a Lack Of Understanding as well and must also Endure to the end.
1 Peter 5:8-10 KJV
“8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle [you].”
1 Corinthians 10:13 KJV
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].”
We are The Odd Balls not accepted by the World, but should be by the Brothers and Sisters bought by The Blood Of Jesus, Our Lord and Savior.
We Walk, We Stand,
We Obey, We Wait
In Christ Jesus!!!
Amen and Amen!!!
Be Blessed in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Our Lord and Savior!!!
Amen and Amen!!!
