Jhn 12:24

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.”

Brothers and Sisters in order to Love Jesus and to Bear Fruit, you Must Die to self, meaning this, that All Things that you hold in this World Must be let go of. Jesus will not be Second in any situation!

Mat 8:21-22

“²¹ And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. ²² But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.”

Too many of you put Excuses before Obeying Jesus, but not Understanding He Is Lord! When Jesus Speaks, He Demands Obedience above all things, all people. Jesus did not Die for you to become a Second Thought, but Died for Your Sins to be Your First Thought in All Events that touches Our Lives. Jesus comes First before Your Wife, before Your Children, before Your Job, before Events, Activities even, before Death, Jesus will Not Share First Place!

In Order for Jesus to be First in All Areas of Your Life you Must Die To Self, Your Will, Your Strength, Your Mind, having Jesus First in All Of These.

Mar 12:30

“And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this [is] the first commandment.”

In doing this, tough discussion must be made in order for Jesus to be First in Our Life. We need to be in Our Lives that when Jesus Speaks, All Things come to a Stop, that He has Our Full Attention, that whatever He Speaks is done. It does not matter of Your Excuses, Jesus, Comes First!

This is why the following Scripture is so important…

Jhn 14:15

“If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

In this One Commandment it Speaks Volumes, but the beginning of this is One Dying To Self, this is The Love. When Our Lord Jesus Prayed to The Father, this First Action was already accomplished, Jesus had to Die To Self in order to Fulfill The Fathers Will…

Luk 22:42

“Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.”

Jesus Our Lord had to Let Go of all that was before Him, including His Life, He had to Die before ever going to The Cross. If Jesus had not done this, Salvation would be lost and one would not be saved by Grace.

Now, there will be some who say that Jesus Had To Die, that He had No Choice in the matter. This is Not True! Jesus went to The Cross because He Chose To. Jesus Chose to Die to self that we might live, but Understand This, Jesus Chose, just as we must choose to Die To Self.

Mat 26:52-54

“⁵² Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. ⁵³ Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? ⁵⁴ But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?”

Anyone can say that they have Died To Self, but the real question is, have you? Do you really Understand what it means to Die To One’s Self? It is more than a Prayer, more than going To A Church, more than Singing In A Choir, more than Reading Your Bible, more than being Nice To Your Neighbor, more than Helping A Stranger, more than Doing Right Things!!! Dying to One’s Self is making Jesus Lord, in which means, that He has Full Control Over Everything That Touches Your Life!

My Life, which is an example to all, goes like this… First Thing in the morning, I lay prostrate in Prayer to Jesus to give Him Control over the events of the day. From Morning until I go to Sleep, Jesus is in the Forefront Of My Mind, My Thoughts in All Events Of The Day, this means I am in Constant Communication, both in Word and Deed, Seeking His Guidance For My Life. Understand this, if I had Not Died To Self, then, Jesus WOULD NOT BE IN THE FOREFRONT of All I Do or even Say, but that My Flesh would still be In Control! There are many Decisions that I could make or I could have made that would have Satisfy The Flesh, but would have been a Sin In The Spirit!

Our Flesh does not want to Die, but Live accord to What It Wants and Desires and to be First In All Things. Jesus will Not Be Second In Anything!

We Must Understand that The Flesh is in Constant Battle with The Spirit and we Must Choose to Die to one so that the other may be Master Over Us.

Rom 6:16

“Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?”

Jas 3:10-12

“¹⁰ Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. ¹¹ Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet [water] and bitter? ¹² Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so [can] no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.”

Understand this, that when you Yield, that whatever you Yield to becomes Master and the other that you did not Yield to must Die, having No Control. In saying that, when you Yield, you Die To Self, giving Control Over to whom you have Yielded To. It is By Choice, it is In Our Control.

Jesus said that in order for us To Live we must First Die…

Mar 8:35-38

“³⁵ For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. ³⁶ For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? ³⁷ Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? ³⁸ Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”

Mat 10:39

“He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.”

Mat 16:25

“For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.”

Many look at these Scriptures and only look at a Martyr but they go much deeper. Jesus is speaking of The Whole Life not just in one losing their Life because they spoke about Him. Jesus has Bought Your Whole Life with His Blood, it was not just to give you access into Heaven.

So let’s look at this as a Whole Pie that you have divided into sections and each section is a portion of Your Life, truly how many section have you given to Jesus? Some would say that they Honor Jesus in All Areas, but do you really?

Let us look at some scenario’s. On your Job, would you tell a co-worker or even your boss about Jesus, knowing you would possibly be fired? You have a Sibling that is a Homosexual, would you Except them or tell them The Biblical Truth and reject them until they repent? You have a member within you immediate household that are being Ungodly, would you go to the point of Discipline or give them lip service in hopes of their changing? You have some friends that want you to go to a party with people that you have known since childhood, but they all drink, smoke and do drugs, would you say No at the Cost Of Losing A Past Friend and or Friends? You have a Job that demands Tolerance of All People, regardless of Age, Sex, Sexuality, Religion, do you Tolerate the Transgender to be with you in a project or would you Not Tolerate it at the loss of your job? You have a Neighbor who is friendly with you, in fact thinks of you as their friend, but this person is a heathen, are they Your Friend?

These things are Hard Decision to even think about because we try and convince ourselves that it does not matter, that we can find a Scripture to Justify what we are doing, that we must Accept or be Rejected, but in any case, Death Is Present!

To Live The Life that Jesus Died for, we Must Die to Ourselves Completely in All Areas that Touch Our Lives in order to Please Him, in order to say that we Love Jesus and before Jesus Accepts that we Love Him, we Must Die to Ourselves and be Obedient At All Cost!

Life requires a Sacrifice, in that Sacrifice Death Must occur in order for Life To Begin!

Rom 12:1

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service.”

Amen and Amen!!!
