Jesus The Salvation

Brothers and Sisters there are too many differences of Salvation to one who Accepts Jesus as Savior and Lord. Some Believe that without Repentance Salvation is given on the simple fact that Jesus died for the Whole World and that His Blood has washed away sin and that all end up in Heaven. There are those who Believe that once Saved you are always saved no matter what, because of the Sealing of The Holy Spirit. Some Believe that you Must be Baptized or you’re not saved. The list goes on and on.

Most of these have some Scripture Reference that they stand on, but what does The Word have to say?

Let us start with Jesus being Baptized. Jesus did not need to be Baptized to be Saved, He is God who brought Salvation into the World.

Matthew 3:13-17

13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. 14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? 15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer [it to be so] now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. 16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

So, if Jesus, being God, who is The One to bring Salvation, then why was He Baptized? John The Baptist had come out of the wilderness, preaching that The Messiah was coming, he was the forerunner, the messenger for Jesus Arrival. John The Baptist had to have been Instructed in the wilderness on what he was to do before Jesus was to come.

John The Baptist had been preaching Repentance Of Sin and was Baptizing people for an Outward Sign to their Heart Change. John The Baptist did this all around Jerusalem, Judaea and around all the regions. The word had gotten out to all the people what John The Baptist was doing, he had set a course that would affect all mankind.

Matthew 3:3, 5-7, 11

3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. … 5 Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan, 6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins. 7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? … 11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and [with] fire:”

So back to the question, why did Jesus need to be Baptized? Was John The Baptist of Greater Authority then Jesus? Was John The Baptist the Beginning Of Salvation? Was John The Baptist God?

Jesus had to be Baptized because of those who followed John The Baptist, that they would Know He Is The Son Of God. It was a Manifestation for The Father to Declare to all those who where around that this Jesus was not a mere man, but that He Is The Son Of God, The Father. It was a Transition from John The Baptist to Jesus for The World to see. Jesus Baptism was not for Salvation but for a Sign He Is God’s Only Son. How many people did Jesus Baptize with Water? The answer is zero!

So then, first point what John The Baptist was doing did not make Salvation Happen, but was the Forerunner of what Jesus would do.

So then moving on… Let us move forward to what Jesus said about Salvation. Jesus said that we must Confess Our Sins… and Believe.

Mark 1:14-15

14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”

Jesus Our Lord, went throughout the region Preaching The Word Of The Father to all who would hear, declaring Himself The Son Of God.

Now; to the thief on the cross, who was crucified with Jesus.

[Luke 23:39-43 KJV]

39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. 40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. 42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.”

The Thief, who Believed Jesus was whom He said He was, and Confessed his sin to Jesus, was Saved without Baptism of Water. He was Saved according to His Belief In Jesus.

Now, do not get me wrong, Baptism of Water should be done, but not for Salvation, but for an Outward Sign To An Inward Change.

In Romans it says if I Confess and Believe, I will be Saved.

Romans 10:9-10

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

So, for All Of Mankind this is the Absolute Must to be Saved, that through our confession, The Blood Of Jesus washes us clean and our Spirit is made clean. But, the Soul can still have issues for The Living.

To those who Truly Confess that Jesus Is The Son Of The Father and Believe that He Saves Us From Eternal Fire by His Blood that He did shed for us all can be Saved, even upon their death bed.

Now to the Living. There is a caveat to us, that is, we Must Live out the rest of our lives on earth doing The Father’s Will, Living as His Holy Word says. It is Our Outward Manifestations to an Inward Change.

Matthew 7:21

“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”

In conclusion, for those who are on their Death Bed, who are going to die shortly, the Confession Of Sin, Belief In Jesus as Savior will be saved, if…if they Truly Believe and have a true a Change Of Heart!

To those of us who are not on our Death Beds, the same rule applies, but, because we are yet still alive, then it is Mandatory that we Live The Rest Of Our Lives Manifesting Jesus as not only Savior but also Lord Over Our Lives.

Salvation is to all who Ask and Believe. Those who are about to die must Truly have an Inward Change, likewise, the Living must also have an Inward Change that is Proven through Our Daily Lives. It is The Blood Of Jesus that Saves Us, there is nothing else that can or will. But as our Brother James says to the living, I will Prove to The World that I am Saved because of The Works I do Daily In My Life, that Jesus Is both Savior and Lord of My life.

James 2:18

“Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.”

In Romans it says that it is the very least that we can do to Show Our Salvation To The World…

Romans 12:1-2

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Our Walk Is Proof Who Jesus Is In Us!

Amen and Amen!!!

Be Blessed in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Our Lord and Savior!!!

Amen and Amen!!!
