Romans 8:1
“[There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit”.
Brothers and Sisters Understand this, it is Our Flesh, the Things Dealing With The Flesh that we are Condemned, it is Walking In The Spirit is where Freedom is in Jesus. It is those things that are Not Acceptable to Jesus, that is, How We Talk, What We Believe, What We Do and How We See Things that go against Jesus, Who Is The Word Of The Father and The Holy Spirit. In every situation it is ALWAYS Our Choice to be Godly or Ungodly, to Walk In Obedience or Disobedience.
Galatians 5:16
“[This] I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”
1 John 2:16
“For all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”
There are a few things that need to be Looked At, Faith, Obedience, Endurance and Praise. A Believer, Christian, Blood Bought must have Faith based on Two Parts. One, that Jesus is The Son Of The Father, that All Things are WITHIN His Authority and Power. Two, that Jesus Hears Our Prayers and Answers them according to His Will for Our Sake in Faith In Him.
Hebrews 1:3
“Who being the brightness of [his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;”
Hebrews 12:2
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Matthew 6:8
“Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.”
Matthew 7:7
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:”
Matthew 21:21-22
“21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this [which is done] to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. 22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”
John 14:12-15
“12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it]. 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
Brothers and Sisters there is a Clause in Faith, when we Pray and Ask. If you are Praying, Asking for things to Fulfill The LUST OF THE FLESH you will not receive it. If you are Praying, Asking for things that are AGAINST THE WILL OF THE FATHER you will not receive it. Too many of you have Prayed, Asked for things that will bring No Glory TO Jesus. Be not confused in this, The Father gave Jesus All Power and Authority to do The Fathers Will In All Things. So then, All Things that we Submit In Faith MUST BE within the Glorification Of Jesus TO The Father!
Now for the next element of Walking In The Spirit, in which the last verse above leads into, Love and Keeping Jesus Commands. To Walk In The Spirit, we Must Have A Surrendered Will that is a Result of OUR LOVE TO JESUS. If you do those things within The Word for other reasons and not for Love Of Jesus, then, you have Manipulated The Word For Fleshly Gain. The things I do is because firstly, Jesus Loves Me so much He gave His Life For Me, which is a Debt I can never repay, except that I Love Him In Return, realizing what Jesus has done on my behalf. So then, I Walk In Obedience because of Loves Sake and this Love that I have extends to the Whole Godhead (Father, Son, Holy Spirit)!
John 3:16-17
“16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
To Walk In The Spirit we Must Endure both in Faith and Obedience against The World, The Flesh. This means that whatever comes my way, I Must Endure through it. It does not matter what it is or where it is coming from. Our Scale is and always should be The Word and Holy Spirit, there is No Greater Weight! Now, Understand this, when I Pray, I Ask, I Must Endure until The Answer, I Must continue where I am until then. My Flesh may want to do things not according to The Will Of Jesus, The Father, so then I must bring my Body, my Will into Subjection To The Spirit.
Matthew 24:13
“But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”
1 Corinthians 9:27
“But I keep under my body, and bring [it] into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.”
Luke 22:42
“Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.”
The Spirit of God, The Holy Spirit, will help us to Endure, but it is still Our Choice to Obey. By bringing our Flesh into Subjection To The Spirit, we become One With Jesus, With The Godhead, when we Walking According to The Word!
The last element that needs to be examined is Our Praise. Did you know that Our Praise ushers in The Holy Spirit to Work, to bring further Praise To Jesus. But Understand this, Our Praise is a Double Edge Sword, meaning, How we Praise can be For Us or Against Us. If Our Praise goes back to the beginning of this message which is Faith, then to Obedience, then to Endurance, then our Praise is Worthy to be Acceptable To Jesus. Understand this, Our Praise is to Jesus for Who He Is, What He Has Done and What He Will Do, according to The Will Of The Father, it is NOT just because we Have Asked. Our Praise needs to be every day, all day long, even in bad times that we must endure. We Praise Jesus because…All Power and Authority is in His Hands. If you are just doing lip service and not for Love, then it will not be acceptable To Jesus!
Isaiah 29:13
“Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near [me] with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:”
Matthew 15:8
“This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with [their] lips; but their heart is far from me.”
For some, there is an element of Praise that is hard for most, that is, to Praise Jesus when Death has happened, or Pain has come, or Our Enemy comes against us. Too many just want to Praise Jesus when there is Good Times, when standing on The Mountain Of Life, but Praise To Jesus needs to be from The Valley, to The Climb, to The Top. The Praise To Jesus should not change because of what Does or Does Not happen. For many in this area will have to dig deep to find Praise To Jesus, but to Walk In The Spirit, you will find it.
Psalm 7:17
“I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.”
Psalm 9:2
“I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.”
Psalm 21:13
“Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: [so] will we sing and praise thy power.”
Psalm 30:12
“To the end that [my] glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.”
Psalm 35:18, 28
“18 I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people. … 28 And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness [and] of thy praise all the day long.”
Understand this, Our Praise can be being Happy, in Sadness and everything in between. Even in our Tears, if we Understand The Spirit can be a Praise To Jesus.
To Praise Jesus goes back to Faith, Obedience, Endurance and Praise Again. These four elements walk hand in hand in Walking In The Spirit. These elements Must be in Our Daily Walk, they Must be Who We Are, What We Have Become and these are Our Witness to The World that Jesus Is Lord, Is The Son Of God! All four can exist at the Same Time, for when we Have Faith, we Walk In Obedience, Enduring Life As It Happens, Filled With Praise To Jesus, but once again, YOU MUST CHOOSE to Walk In The Spirit and Not In The Flesh!
