“13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”
1 Peter 1:13-16
Brothers and Sisters, in Our Daily Walk we are to be mind full of Our Speech, Our Action and Our Thoughts. We are The Book that every one Reads and makes Judgments By, coming to Conclusions of Whom Our God Is and Whom We Have Become.
The above Scriptures, verse 15, “…all manner of conversation;” is the Completeness Of Our Lives. Even as I have written, it is What we Say, Do and Think. If I get Angry at my Boss and Say or Do something, which is a manifestation of what I am Thinking, are those who are around me receiving my proper Communication? This can be with your Spouse, your Children, your Neighbor, The World.
When we do such things that are Unholy according to Jesus, Unrighteous according to Jesus, then it is Sin, and Sin when it has finished Manifesting, brings Death or Destruction in many ways that most do not think of. It brings a Separation between you and Jesus, Separation between you and whomever you have offended. These Words, these Actions also can Force Us to be within The Enemies Camp, even Under The Enemies Control in Our Lives.
Now, I used Anger as an example, but it can be anything that you Say or Do that Jesus would Not Agree With. It can be Unforgiveness, Substance Abuse, Language, Relationships and the list goes on.
“46 If they sin against thee, (for [there is] no man that sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near; 47 [Yet] if they shall bethink themselves in the land whither they were carried captives, and repent, and make supplication unto thee in the land of them that carried them captives, saying, We have sinned, and have done perversely, we have committed wickedness; 48 And [so] return unto thee with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies, which led them away captive, and pray unto thee toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, the city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name: 49 Then hear thou their prayer and their supplication in heaven thy dwelling place, and maintain their cause, 50 And forgive thy people that have sinned against thee, and all their transgressions wherein they have transgressed against thee, and give them compassion before them who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them: 51 For they [be] thy people, and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest forth out of Egypt, from the midst of the furnace of iron: 52 That thine eyes may be open unto the supplication of thy servant, and unto the supplication of thy people Israel, to hearken unto them in all that they call for unto thee.
1 Kings 8:46-52
Now, if we find ourselves in a place of Ungodliness, then Repentance is Required. We Must Repent of the Action that has caused Separation with Jesus and may even go to whom we have Offended.
“23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; 24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. 25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. 26 Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.”
The First Line Of Action, is to Pray and Ask Jesus for His Forgiveness for Sinning Against Him, then and only then, the Second Line Of Action may be to whom we have Offended.
We need to Understand that Sin in Our Daily Walk brings Separation, brings Death to the World Around us.
“1 Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: 2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid [his] face from you, that he will not hear.”
“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth [it] not, to him it is sin.”
We, My Brothers and Sisters, MUST Walk Daily in Repentance and not take the Price Jesus paid for granted. Yes, we Live by Faith, by the Mercy Of The Father that Grace has been given to us who believe, but, we Must be aware always that Our Ways are NOT always God’s Ways. Therefore, we Must be Vigilant In Our Daily Walk Not To Sin.
“Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.”
“What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.”
Brothers and Sisters we must understand that the Law of Grace is equal to the Will Of God, there is No Difference and The Will Of God is to be Obedient IN All His Ways! Jesus said that just because you Call Him Lord does not make you Saved, but it is to all those who Do The Fathers Will.
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”
“And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?”
Grace, Forgiveness and Repentance Walk Hand in Hand and cannot be separated and Must be part of Our Daily Walk. So then, let there be no ignorance among you, we Must Repent Always For Our Sins, Our Wrong Doings according to The Word, but let not Repentance bring in Sin…
I know many are scratching their heads, confused in what I just stated. Too many have Repented for being angry or against someone because of their sin and in doing so, you have allowed their sin to be Acceptable By Grace. Repentance does NOT Accept Sin, but Repentance gives us the Ability To Do Jesus’ Will in speaking or doing what is Right according to The Word and The Holy Spirit towards that person, meaning, WE DO NOT ACCEPT THEIR SIN or SINFUL WAYS, but give them the Opportunity to Repent. If, again I say IF that Person Refuses to Repent, will Not Hear Why they need to Repent, then turn away and have nothing more to do with them.
“11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence. 12 And when ye come into an house, salute it. 13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. 14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. 15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.”
Yes, we serve a Just and Holy God that will not Tolerate Sin, so then, why should we?
If your Daily Walk is not asking for Forgiveness From Jesus, then, you do not understand The Fathers Will, His Ways. Every single day, sometimes multiple times a day, I ask for forgiveness for either a thought or deed or what I’ve said incorrectly. If your Daily Walk is not Focused on Pleasing Jesus, then you have been taught incorrectly.
Jesus PAID a price for Your Life that can never be repaid, but, our payment is in Walking In Obedience and Repentance is Required in that Walk. Our Daily Walk is of a Repented Life, meaning, that we must always put God’s Ways above our ways having the understanding that because we Live in this World, Sin Is Abounding.
“For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith the LORD.”
Everyone should examine their Lives on a Moment by Moment status, Repenting when The Holy Spirit brings Understanding that how we are is Not Acceptable to Jesus. Jesus is not Just My Savior and My Lord, but I have a Relationship With Him making Him more than a Friend, more than a Brother or Sister, deeper than Family and Jesus should be the same with you. Our Daily Walk is Filled With Grace, Filled With Mercy, Filled With Forgiveness all because of Repentance.
“Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.”
Amen and Amen!!!
Be Blessed in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Our Lord and Savior!!!
Amen and Amen!!!
