Just Because I Can, Does Not Mean I Should

Greetings Brother’s and Sister’s, In The Mighty Name of Jesus, The Christ!!!

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Romans 12:2

Brothers and Sisters there are many things that I can do, the World is at my hands to do My Pleasure, My Will, My Choice. Many consider this a Blessing from Jesus because He said…

“¹³ And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. ¹⁴ If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it].”

John 14:13-14

But Understand this, Jesus is NOT going to give you something that will be Against His Will, Against The Fathers Will, nor The Holy Spirits Will! Some Believe in a Healing, some Believe in being Rich, some Believe in Power…you have Asked Jesus for such things, yet He has not given, nor will He. Some have asked for Food, Clothing, Shelter for your selves or others and yet Have Not Obtained them. So, does this make Jesus a Liar because of what He Said? NO IT DOES NOT!!!

“For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”

Galatians 6:8

“Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume [it] upon your lusts.”

James 4:3

Now you say, what does this have to do with “Because I Can…”. There are many, many Brothers and Sisters and Heathens that do things, but yet they were not supposed to, so they Ask and Receive Not. Some have Started to Walk By The Spirit, but end up Walking After The Flesh because of What They Have Done…OUTSIDE the Will Of Jesus.

I will give a Testimony of one event that brings this to an Understanding in part. There once was a man whom Jesus told to build a Church on a certain location, but the man reasoned within himself and decided Not to build where The Lord had said to, the man thought it did not have enough visual Notice, enough Traffic. So the man Walk Against The Lords Will, built “his” church where he wanted and there was very little, very few that attended. There was another man, who truly followed The Spirit Of God, so The Lord told him to build where the first man was supposed to, he did. He Walk In Obedience and did as he was told, as he was showed, he built The Church that The Lord wanted and the Church was Packed beyond sitting capacity!

The first man did what he wanted to because he could, and should not have done so, and was Not Blessed.

In the Old Testament we have a like situation, a Young Prophet was told of God to do, to go to a certain place and was given specific instructions to follow, but he Disobeyed God and was devoured by a lion on a path for all to see.

“¹⁵ Then he said unto him, Come home with me, and eat bread. ¹⁶ And he said, I may not return with thee, nor go in with thee: neither will I eat bread nor drink water with thee in this place: ¹⁷ For it was said to me by the word of the LORD, Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that thou camest. ¹⁸ He said unto him, I [am] a prophet also as thou [art]; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. [But] he lied unto him. ¹⁹ So he went back with him, and did eat bread in his house, and drank water. ²⁰ And it came to pass, as they sat at the table, that the word of the LORD came unto the prophet that brought him back: ²¹ And he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the LORD, and hast not kept the commandment which the LORD thy God commanded thee, ²² But camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which [the LORD] did say to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy carcase shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers. ²³ And it came to pass, after he had eaten bread, and after he had drunk, that he saddled for him the ass, [to wit], for the prophet whom he had brought back. ²⁴ And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase. ²⁵ And, behold, men passed by, and saw the carcase cast in the way, and the lion standing by the carcase: and they came and told [it] in the city where the old prophet dwelt. ²⁶ And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard [thereof], he said, It [is] the man of God, who was disobedient unto the word of the LORD: therefore the LORD hath delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn him, and slain him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake unto him.”

1 Kings 13:15-26

See, the Young Prophet thought it was okay because of a compelling persuasion of the Old Prophet, that the Old Prophet Sounded Good, Looked Good, Felt Good. Just because the Young Prophet could, he should not have, it cost him his Life!

There are many, many Brothers and Sisters who are doing things out of Their Flesh just because they can, Not Understanding that Jesus will Allow them to do so, will Allow them to Walk In Disobedience to the day of Judgment, then they will answer for their Disobedience To The Word, To The Spirit.

There are many who have built church’s, teach doctrine that sounds good, sending people on missionary adventures, started foundations, started ministries such as orphanages, medical facilities, shelters and the list goes on and on! All of these things Sound Good, Look Good, Felt Good and even Seemed Righteous at the time, but unless Jesus Builds, unless Jesus Sends then all is of The Flesh and its end will be that of The Flesh!!!

“¹ [[A Song of degrees for Solomon.]] Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh [but] in vain. ² [It is] vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: [for] so he giveth his beloved sleep.”

Psalm 127:1-2

“²⁴ Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: ²⁵ And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. ²⁶ And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: ²⁷ And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”

Matthew 7:24-27

Now thus far we have only spoken of Ministry, but what about everyday Life things. Such as Marriage, before and during? What about how your Children that are being Unruly? What about Your Choice, Your Body?

Let’s start with the First, Marriage. There are many, many who are either considering Marriage or are about to get married to someone who is Not Born Again. You are Wanting to do so because you believe they are Good, they are Faithful, they Feel Good to you, they Treat you Good and you believe YOU CAN SAVE THEM!

First WE CANNOT SAVE ANYONE, only Jesus can and only when they are Drawn In By The Father.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

Romans 10:9

“No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.”

John 6:44

Now, there are many that because you believe they are Good, they are Faithful, they Feel Good to you, they Treat you Good that Jesus must have sent them to you as your Spouse. You MUST UNDERSTAND, Jesus will not go against His Own Word, His Own Will!

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?”

2 Corinthians 6:14

Okay, let’s say that Jesus has sent you someone that is Born Again, there are still Ordnances that we must follow. Husbands are to Love their wives, even as Jesus Loves The Church…

“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;”

Ephesians 5:25

“Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with [them] according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.”

1 Peter 3:7

Wives, you are to Love your Husbands as even to The Lord. To Be your Husbands Helpmate, his Comfort, his Joy!

“Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.”

Ephesians 5:22

“Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.”

Colossians 3:18

Now this is brought up because many, many are marrying Unbelievers, those who are Not Blood Bought by Our Lord Jesus which is the first mistake and is Walking in Disobedience! But then we have those who have found someone who is a Born Again Believer, but someone, either the Husband or Wife decide within themselves they do not want to Obey The Word Of The Lord and begin to do things their own way, which can lead to Indifferences, Separation, Divorce, which again is Walking in Disobedience on ALL ACCOUNTS!! All just Because They CAN!

So, now you’re married and you start to have children and the years go by to middle school, around 13 years and the Child or Children become Unruly, Disobedient, doing Their Own Thing trying to Force the Parents to “Get On Board” and you Blame the Child, or Children, because “Yes” it is Their Choice, but let us look at the Real Root.

Scriptures tell us that One, the Children are to Obey their Parents, Two, if a Child is Disobedient we are to Discipline them, and third if we, The Parents, have done our job right, that is, raise them up unto Jesus, to Live as He Commands, then we as parents have a Reward…they will Live As THEY WERE TAUGHT!

“Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.”

Exodus 20:12

“¹ Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. ² Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) ³ That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.”

Ephesians 6:1-3

Children are Disobedient Because They Can be, it’s their choice! But, the biggest blame goes to the Parents. Many want Children, but Do Not Take Responsibility For The Children but allow Strangers, Peers and The Government to take the Responsibility of Teaching Our Children THE WAYS THEY WILL LIVE!!!

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Proverbs 22:6

You, Parents, just Because You DON’T TRAIN YOUR CHILDREN TO BE GODLY, because you Do NOT have the Time to Teach Your Children, but Rely on SOMEONE ELSE to Teach them HOW TO LIVE, they turn out to be Unruly and Disobedient to their parents. Again, just Because You Can, Does Not Mean You Should, that is, Allow Ungodly People Train Your Children On How To Live Their Lives.

Did you Know, Jesus Paid for All of you, not just part of you and in His Payment YOU BECAME THE TEMPLE OF GOD!

“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”

1 Corinthians 3:16

Because of this, it No Longer is My Body, but it Belongs To Jesus for The Holy Spirit to dwell in. so, it is Not “My Body, My Choice”, but should be Jesus’ Will Be Done!

There are many, many things that The Church is Doing, Saying, and Teaching that are incorrect, according to Scriptures. They do it Because They Can. The Church Allows Women to Usurp Authority over Men, but yet the Scriptures tell us not to allow such things. The Church Allows the Ungodly to hold positions within that are meant for The Godly. The Church Allows Homosexuals to Congregate with the Godly, which brings for Heresy! The Church sets the Example of Our God by being Divided Within, Fragmented with many, many different Doctrines and Beliefs! All these things plus many, many more things are done Just Because You Can, But Should Not!!!
