Happy Easter Or Not

“Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:”

1Co 5:7

Brothers and Sisters do you Know What Today Is? Do you Understand What Today Is? Many people around the World Celebrate this day according to Tradition. The Question is this, are you Following the Crowd or are you Following Jesus? The reason for the Question is that Easter is actually a Pagan Holiday Morphed With The Passover.

The Pagan Holiday was a day of the Celebration Of New Life, it is the celebration of Eostre, a Germanic Goddess and was celebrated during the first full moon of the Vernal Equinox. What also came in Proximity, was the celebration of The Passover, when God’s People were delivered out of the hands of Pharaoh. Since the two were so close in Date, they were Combined, creating Easter…By Man!

Now, this is brought up because too many people Celebrate Easter, rather they are Born Again or Not. Why should Jesus, who died for Our Sins, The Son Of God, SHARE, His Absolute Sacrifice For Sin with a Pagan Goddess?  Are they Equal?

“But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?”

Mat 15:3

“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”

Col 2:8

Did God not say that He was a Jealous God and that He would Not Share with any other …

3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.”

Exo 20:3-6

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”

Heb 13:8

Jesus, Our Lord and Savior, is not going to Share the day of His Sacrifice with Anyone or Anything. The First Commandment says that We, The Blood Bought, will have No Other Gods Before God.

Now, before anyone gets upset. We know that Jesus was Crucified and was Resurrected during the Passover Feast which lasted about eight days. We know that the Last Super was at the Beginning of the Passover. We Understand the Death of Our Lord Jesus is Our Sacrifice For Our Sins. We Understand that Jesus Resurrection is a The New Life. In this we can all agree. But what has happened is there is more about the Easter Bunny, Finding Eggs then there is about Jesus and what He has done. We Force Jesus to share a day with a Goddess, Bunny and Eggs…something is not right!

If you want to be happy that Spring has arrived then be happy, but do not allow something that God has made be over Him.

If, we are Living according to God’s Holy Word, then our Celebration Of New Life should be every day. That we should realize that Every Day Jesus has given to us a New Day to Celebrate Who He Is and What He means to us. If you are only Celebrating what Jesus did One Day A Year, then you need to Question Your Walk.

There are main differences about the Celebration of The Passover, that is, the Celebration was to Remember that The Father delivered His People Out Of Bondage Of Egypt…Once and it was for them to Remember what The Father had done on Their Behalf. Jesus Died for Every Body’s Sin…Once and Our Walk is in Remembrance Of That…until we go home. Egypt was for Israel alone, Jesus, Our Sacrifice For Sins For Ever…For Every Body who Accepts and Believes.

1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, 2 This month [shall be] unto you the beginning of months: it [shall be] the first month of the year to you. 3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth [day] of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of [their] fathers, a lamb for an house: 4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take [it] according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb. 5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take [it] out from the sheep, or from the goats: 6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. 7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike [it] on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it. 8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; [and] with bitter [herbs] they shall eat it. 9 Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast [with] fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof. 10 And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire. 11 And thus shall ye eat it; [with] your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it [is] the LORD’S passover. 12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I [am] the LORD. 13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye [are]: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy [you], when I smite the land of Egypt.”

Exo 12:1-13

“And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This [is] the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof:”

Exo 12:43

(there was a way for a Stranger to partake)

1 And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying, 2 Let the children of Israel also keep the passover at his appointed season. 3 In the fourteenth day of this month, at even, ye shall keep it in his appointed season: according to all the rites of it, and according to all the ceremonies thereof, shall ye keep it. 4 And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, that they should keep the passover. 5 And they kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month at even in the wilderness of Sinai: according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel.

Num 9:1-5

“For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.”

Rom 6:10

“And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.”

Eph 5:2

“Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.”

Heb 7:27

If you want to have Fun, then have Fun, but do not share what Jesus has done with Anybody or Anything, it belongs to Jesus and Him Alone. If Your Daily Walk Speaks what Jesus has done for you then happy are you, but if you have to wait until Easter then You Have A Problem!

One last thing…Stop Lying to your Children. You Confuse the issue that Jesus and the Bunny and the Eggs are all in the same Celebration. What Jesus has done should Stand Alone, a Bunny and Eggs have NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!

Happy Resurrection Day!!!

Amen and Amen!!!

Be Blessed in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Our Lord and Savior!!!

Amen and Amen!!!
