Blessings To The Obedient

Greetings Brother’s and Sister’s, In The Mighty Name of Jesus, The Christ!!!

“If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

John 14:15

Brothers and Sisters, those who Walk In Obedience, those who Strive To Be As Our Lord Jesus, we are Blessed, both Physically and Spiritually! Do we Walk In Obedience only to be Blessed? I would hope not, but we should be Obedient because God The Father first Loved Us, giving us His Only Begotten Son as Our Sacrifice, for Our Sins, taking upon Himself The Punishment Of the Death that we all deserve, Rising Unto Newness Of Life, Forgiven By The Father!!! Praise Jesus In The Highest!!! This is Our First Blessing, undeserving, yet given unto us!

“⁵ Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: ⁶ Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: ⁷ But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: ⁸ And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. ⁹ Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: ¹⁰ That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth; ¹¹ And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Philippians 2:5-11

We have a Promise that our Needs will be met. Now we need to Understand that Our True Needs are Food, Clothing, Housing anything more becomes a Blessing or our Greed or Desire. We must get this understanding deep into our Souls, that there are many things that We Think We Need, but we really do not. But, our Blessing is that The Father Knows we have these needs and He Provides thus, maybe not exactly the way that we desire or even how He Provides, but none the less, The Father Provides For His Children and Through Jesus We Are Blessed!

“³¹ Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? ³² (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.”

Matthew 6:31-32

Now, some clarification here, because of the Times We Live In, we have many other needs, such as Vehicles, Internet and Knowledge, just in order to Live In The World, but none the less The Lord Jesus Knows of these things as well. But the point we need to Understand that We, The Blood Bought, By Jesus, if we Walk In Obedience, We Are Blessed!

Brothers and Sisters we need to understand that Obedience and Blessings Walk As One. There are always two sides and that is the Blessed and the Cursed and The Difference Is Jesus!! Jesus said, “If YOU LOVE ME, KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS” and, we find that if we do, we become Blessed beyond understanding. I cannot number my Blessings that Jesus has given to me since I Accepted Him as Lord and Savior, there are just too many to even remember them all.

Let me give you just a short few that are a part of my Witness that Jesus Is The Son Of God whom I Serve In Love. There have been medicines that I have taken, prescribed by doctors, that I have taken that should have cause greater illnesses or even death, but Jesus has intervened, why… I have asked for a junky truck to get back and forth to work, Jesus lead to a car dealership, presenting two different trucks, more than I even wanted and He said Choose and I will Bless, why… I had a Heart Attack some years back, but I had none of the common symptoms, the care center, the ambulance EMS did not even think I was having one, it was not until I got to the hospital did they know for sure. Later in the hospital that did not think it as severe as it was, but finding out that the right side and the bottom of my heart did not even function because of so many blockages; I ended up having seven by passes. Some would say, if you are so Blessed then why did you even have a heart attack, but see, the heart attack was caused by MY IGNORANCE of younger days. But the question still remains, why…

The Answer, is because I Love Jesus, that I WANT to be Obedient In All Things, because I SEEK HIM, HIS DESIRES, HIS WILL TO BE DONE IN MY LIFE, this is the Why I am Blessed!!!

“¹ Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up [any] image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I [am] the LORD your God. ² Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I [am] the LORD. ³ If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; ⁴ Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. ⁵ And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely. ⁶ And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make [you] afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land. ⁷ And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword. ⁸ And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword. ⁹ For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you. ¹⁰ And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new. ¹¹ And I will set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you. ¹² And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people. ¹³ I [am] the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright. ¹⁴ But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; ¹⁵ And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, [but] that ye break my covenant: ¹⁶ I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. ¹⁷ And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you. ¹⁸ And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. ¹⁹ And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass: ²⁰ And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits. ²¹ And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins. ²² I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your [high] ways shall be desolate. ²³ And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me; ²⁴ Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins. ²⁵ And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of [my] covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy. ²⁶ [And] when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver [you] your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied. ²⁷ And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me; ²⁸ Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins. ²⁹ And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat. ³⁰ And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you. ³¹ And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours. ³² And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it. ³³ And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste. ³⁴ Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye [be] in your enemies’ land; [even] then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths. ³⁵ As long as it lieth desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it. ³⁶ And upon them that are left [alive] of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth. ³⁷ And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies. ³⁸ And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up. ³⁹ And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies’ lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them. ⁴⁰ If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me; ⁴¹ And [that] I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity: ⁴² Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land. ⁴³ The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes. ⁴⁴ And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I [am] the LORD their God. ⁴⁵ But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I [am] the LORD. ⁴⁶ These [are] the statutes and judgments and laws, which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.”

Leviticus 26:1-46

Now, before anyone starts to say that this is for the Children of Israel only, you need to consider… are they not The Children Of Our God… then, Who Are You! If the God whom we Love and Serve declared unto our forerunners that they must Walk In Obedience to be Blessed, then, are we better than they are? No, we are not, but we are required to Walk In Obedience because We Love Jesus and when we do so, we are Blessed Of Jesus.

Now understand this, if I Walk In Obedience to Gain Favor, then Favor I will not find! If my Heart is not after The Lord Jesus In and For Love than is there an ulterior motive, that thinking in doing so I will be Blessed!! But in fact a curse have I laid for my Life and to the Lives that I affect, speaking of our children, their children, their children and their children at the very least, for four generations. My wife had looked up some of my ancestors, finding that because of the way they were, I have the cures through the Blood Line, in which Jesus has Broken and it will not carry forth!

“Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear [the guilty]; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth [generation].”

Exodus 34:7

God requires, demands Obedience In Love to His Children and to those who have preached against such things are ignorant not realizing the trap they have laid. We Serve a Holy God who’s ways do not change from generation to generation, nor from that time frame to this time frame. Our God says, Walk In Obedience and I will Bless You, but if You Chose Not To, then where Blessings would be, you will find Cursing’s!

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”

Hebrews 13:8

Now, think about this…. Do you think that Jesus would have sat down on the Right Hand Of The Father if He did not carry out the Will Of The Father, in Obedience Of The Father, by Dying For Our Sins, but in fact Jesus, The Son Of The Father received a Blessing beyond what He had before time, Jesus Received All Power, All Authority Of The Father because of His Obedience!!! Are we better than Jesus, that We, those whom He Died for, that we should be any less than Obedient To Him Who Paid Our Price For Our Sin!!!

Our Blessings are tied to Obedience, they Walk as One…
