“6 Therefore [we are] always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 8 We are confident, [I say], and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”

Brothers and Sisters, Where is your Heart At? Is your Treasure upon Earth or is it in Heaven? We, my Brothers and Sisters have become too content to be here on Earth, but we should Long to be Present with Jesus!
How many Anchors do you have? Is it your Family, maybe your Friends? Could it be your Job or maybe the Pleasures Of Life? Are there Tomorrows yet Unfulfilled? All of these things can bring the Fear Of Death into our Lives not wanting to leave this Earth just yet. We Fight to Live on this Earth…absent from The Lord Jesus… Those things that Bind Us should have no Binding Power, but that only of The Lord Jesus should Bind our Hearts to be With Him.
We need to have this Understanding in us that Death to us Should be Life Eternal, that there is a Joy that awaits us that we cannot comprehend while on this Earth!
Now, do not get me wrong, there are things upon this Earth that I would like to see completed, some joys that I would like to experience, even places I would like to visit. I have even asked Jesus to extend my Life so that I can fulfill some of these things in The Flesh…but, they do not Bind Me Here. I am ready to meet Jesus face to face at any moment.
“He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.”
Matthew 10:39
“For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.”
Matthew 16:25
Death is a Process of Letting Go of One Thing in Exchange for Another. We must Die to this World, not being Bound to anything in it, letting go to be doing The Will Of Jesus, always ready to Exchange this Life for the Eternal Life In Jesus!!
“24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. 25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. 26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will [my] Father honour.”
John 12:24-26
We need to Let Go in order to Have A Relationship With Jesus, we Must Die To Self in order to Live the Life Jesus and The Father want. Death… we should embrace it not as a sad thing, but, as a Glorious Thing!!! Through Death and New Life Begins and the Old Is Past Away!!! Thank You Jesus!!!! Praise Thy Holy Name!!!!
Now, do not get me wrong, do not take this as I am saying that we should be suicidal, that we want to kill ourselves, for this would be a Sin and would not be good to those who would do such a thing. But what I am saying is that we are too Attached to this World, that there are too many of you that are Bound To This World, that it Controls You, rather than Jesus.
Let’s go through a quick list of what I am talking about. My Job, I work for Jesus not a company. The company is only the means to Supply What Jesus Has For Me and My House. If Jesus tells me to quit, or if I get fired, then He will lead me to another job, another company to Supply Jesus’s Blessings To Me, & My House. But there is a more important secondary to having this job, that is, it is Where Jesus has sent me to Glorify His Name, to Bear Witness that Jesus Is Lord, Is Savior. But in order for this to happen, I MUST Surrender, I MUST Die To Self in order To Live! I cannot Hold On to that which Binds Me To This World.
This same principal is applied with All Things! My Family, it is my Responsibility to Provide, to Protect, to Instruct, to Lead Into The Presence Of Jesus’s Will. My Friends, it is my Responsibility to Set An Example of Jesus In Me… all of this is accomplished through Death, through Letting Go, and Giving Jesus Full Control!!
“7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.”
Romans 14:7-8
Death is but a Door Unto Life Eternal, that is, in this World and Heaven. For the Work that I do here I had to Die For! I would have never been able to do the things that Jesus has told me to do or say without first Dying to My Self First, that is, Letting Go Of This World’s Binding Powers in order to Live!!!
Death, it has a Price and there is No Negotiation. Just as a Seed falls to the ground, it must Let Go of what Life that remains in order to Die, so, It May Live, there is no other way. The Price…Letting Go!!! Jesus Demands this same thing of us, that we must Let Go of This World so that We May Live.
“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”
Matthew 16:24
Now, there is another part that we must Die To, that we must welcome Death to come, that is, Our Intelligence. God’s Wisdom, Knowledge and His Understanding is more than we can ever comprehend. We may Think we need to do this or to that in order to accomplish this or that, but that is Our Thinking, that is Our Life We Control.
In these past few weeks there have been Brothers and Sisters who have risen up against the Government dealing with this virus and dealing with justice, but The Word says that we are to do what those who are in Government Office say, God’s Word never says… If We Agree. Likewise there are Brothers and Sisters that take God’s Holy Word and Control It To Their Justifications, saying well those are things in the past generations and do not deal with this generation. This, is Living To One’s Self, having Control Over The Do’s and Don’ts…Life is far from them!
If God’s Word tells me to Stand On My Head so that I may see clear, then WHO AM I TO QUESTION GOD!!! The only way that I Cannot Question God, is if I Die To Self, welcoming Death so that I May Live!!!
“1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Romans 12:1-2
Now, with all of this being said, if Physical Death was to approach, then, why should be fear? What is there that Binds us that we should Fear? But it the Transference of Life to Death to Life Eternal. Does this mean we should walk in ignorance doing things without thinking? NO!!! But it does mean that, if we have Died to Self, that it does not matter what comes our way…Jesus Is Lord Over All!!! Even as James was stoned to death in the street, he looked up to Heaven and was Received!!
“57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, 58 And cast [him] out of the city, and stoned [him]: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul. 59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon [God], and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. 60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.”
Acts 7:57-60
We need to Walk As the Living Dead. We are Dead to this Life but yet are we alive. We are The Witnesses, We are The Children and We are His Vessels to do His Will while we are upon this earth.
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
Galatians 2:20
To us who are Blood Bought By Jesus, Death should not be a Fearful Thing, but to those who Know Not Jesus, who are Not Washed, Death should be a Very Fearful Thing, for after Death…comes Judgment!
Is there something that you are Holding On To that Needs To Die? Is Death Not Welcomed to the Binding Powers that Bind You in this World? Most people do not like Death because it means Change To Those Things That We Have Grown Used To or It Is Binding Us To Tomorrow Which We Have No Control Over!
“Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day [is] the evil thereof.”
Matthew 6:34
Death…We Must All Face It Rather Willingly or Not, it does not matter, but until this World Passes, Death will always be present! Death Unto Eternal Life? Death Unto Eternal Fire? Your Choice!
