“From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.”

“And ye shall be hated of all [men] for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.”

“Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you:
and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.”

Brothers and Sisters here is a Measuring Stick to your Walk with Jesus. Our Lord and Savior, Suffered a great deal, he was Mocked, Beaten, Spit On, Whipped, Rocks thrown at Him and all kinds of vile speech said to him. Jesus Suffered when He went to the Cross and The Father turned his back on His Only Begotten Son, leaving Jesus alone.
Jesus, Our Lord, Suffered a great deal before sitting down on the Right Hand of The Father. If your Walk With Jesus causes you No Suffering, then you need to examine your Life. Jesus said that We Will Suffer Following Him. So then, again measure yourself to the Suffering that you endure.
Now there are three different meanings to Suffer. There is the Suffer to basically “Allow” or “Get Permission”; there is the Suffer of Illness and Disease; then the last which is the main topic, “Suffer To Be A Blood Bought Follower”. All three are known of each and every person on earth, but, we as Christians Will Suffer doing the Will Of God.
“Blessed are ye, when [men] shall revile you, and persecute [you], and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.”
Matthew 5:11
There are many out there that are Lying to you, telling you that all is good. Many are telling you to Walk in Love, but they never tell you that you are going to Suffer Persecution for following Jesus, for doing His Will. Many would rather give you a “Feel Good” message, filled with Fluff and Prosperity because they themselves know nothing of Suffering For Jesus. Every day I Suffer because I am Following Jesus as He Commands. I even Suffer at the hands of others whom claim Jesus as their Salvation.
“Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and [some] of them ye shall kill and crucify; and [some] of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute [them] from city to city:”
Matthew 23:34
We Must Endure Suffering if we are going to Follow Jesus! We are no better than He is, because Jesus Paid for our sins we have bypassed the Suffering. Much more because we Follow Jesus will our Suffering be.
“4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these [are] the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
Matthew 24:4-14
The Measuring Stick to Your Walk is this… are YOU Doing the Work of Jesus, that He Commands YOU to do? If you are, then you, Personally, will Suffer For Doing So! If you Do Not Suffer because of Jesus, then your Walk Is Carnal, it is a Fake Representation Of Jesus! Jesus CAN NOT LIE! If Jesus says that we are going to Suffer because of Him, then you know it is a Truth that You Will Suffer!
I know many that try to separate Work from Personal, Church from State and to those who claim such a thing, I Rebuke Sharply! Is Jesus Divided, is The Father Divided, and is The Holy Spirit Divided, NO! They are ONE, they Agree saying the same thing, wanting the same thing, so then, how can you be Divided from Within? Jesus Died to cover All Of US, not for just a piece of me, All Of Me! If Jesus so died for me, then should I not Live For Him, both in my home, work, school, and in public?
“34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man’s foes [shall be] they of his own household. 37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.”
Matthew 10:34-39
“12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against [their] parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. 13 And ye shall be hated of all [men] for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”
Mark 13:12-13
Many of you are afraid to say anything because you do not want to Suffer, you do not want to be Rejected and you do not want to Pay The Price of being a Follower Of Jesus. Many of you fold your hands, close your eyes and seal your lips, ignoring what Our Lord Jesus has said!
Sometimes Suffering can be a Backlash because you are Blood Bought, that is, Satan knows you belong to Jesus, that Jesus has Paid For Your Sins with His Blood. Because of this very thing, you can Suffer in an indirect way. Example, if I am Following what Jesus has told me to do, to Stand in a situation and I Suffer in having False Witnesses against me, or I Suffer in being By Passed for a Promotion or Raise, or you know that You are being talked about, then all of these are a Suffering for Jesus. Now, in order for these to be a Suffering For Jesus, there must be a Qualifier and that is, you would have had to have Witnessed About Jesus to someone. If you Have Not Witnessed About Jesus to someone, then, these things would not be considered a Suffering For Jesus.
“34 Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. 35 Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples. … 58 But Peter followed him afar off unto the high priest’s palace, and went in, and sat with the servants, to see the end. … 69 Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee. 70 But he denied before [them] all, saying, I know not what thou sayest. 71 And when he was gone out into the porch, another [maid] saw him, and said unto them that were there, This [fellow] was also with Jesus of Nazareth. 72 And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man. 73 And after a while came unto [him] they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art [one] of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee. 74 Then began he to curse and to swear, [saying], I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew. 75 And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.”

Many of you do not want to keep company with those whom you would consider Radicals, those who Witness to whomever, wherever and at any time. In fact many of you who claim to be a Christian will speak false things against them, even agree with those whom are the true enemies of Jesus. Just as Peter accompanied himself with those who had Denied Jesus as the Savior.
Probably Lying, Bearing False Witness is so common in this day and age. The Church is in a Great Division and it is all because of The Word. You must keep in mind that Satan is out to Destroy The Kingdom Of The God and will do anything to do so.
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.”
John 10:10
Suffer, Yes You Will! If you are Walking With Jesus As Your Lord, YOU WILL SUFFER! Rumors and False Witness are running rampant in this day and age. It has and will destroy Christian Brothers and Sisters, that there is and will be a great fight from within. The sad part is that those who are in positions of Authority should have never allowed such things to happen, but they did and they do.
“22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. 23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; 24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.”
Matthew 5:22-24
The Suffering of some is uncalled for, especially dealing with the Household Of Faith. Because of doing as Jesus has told them to do or say. I have been an outcast to many, but yet I would do it again. We do have a choice. We can choose whether to be Obedient To Jesus, to Walk As He Says, Doing As He Says or we can give in to Satan making him lord.
