Greetings Brothers and Sisters, In the Mighty Name of Jesus Our Lord and Savor!
Be Not Unequally Yoked! pt2
In 1 Samuel 15:2 – 3 it says,
“2)Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt. 3)Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.”
Our Heavenly Father Hated Amalek so much that He wanted any remembrance of them utterly destroyed. They were a breed of people that the Father did not want His People to be involved with in any notion. Their Hearts, their DNA, was out to Kill the Israelites, however they could, and many times in fact they tried. We must understand that there are some people in this world that are evil, that God wants nothing to do with, but are destine to the Pit’s of Fire that await them.
We must, be careful who we Hang Out with, who we are Friends with, whom we Date, Engage and Marry! Do not think that You can change any person to be as God would have them to be, God Can Not, so why do You think You Can?
Everyone on Planet Earth has been given a Free Will to choose what they may or may not do and because of the Free Will Act, we need to be aware of whom we are connected to. Marriage, is suppose to be a bond forever until Heaven. From Young to Old we Live with this person, with all the Ups and Downs that this Life Offers. It is hard enough to Live in this World alone, and it becomes compounded when you get married. If you marry a Non-Christian, it even becomes 100 times harder.
There are elements in our Lives that we can verily explain and do not know the full existent. Such as, how can the blood of Able cry out to God the Father, how does emotional elements get passed, or physical elements. But, there is the fact that God the Father Knows and throughout Scripture He does not want Bad Blood mixed with His People.
It does not matter, how good looking they are, how much money they have, who their friends are, it they do not Know Jesus as Their Savor and Lord, Stay Away! If you are in a relationship that you find out before you are married that they do not know Jesus, break it off and never return. However, beware of such encounters; there are those who in Life are set out by the Adversary to destroy God’s People, that would put on Sheep’s Clothing and appear to be Holy, when they are not, but raving wolves seeking to fill their desires in the flesh.
Take the time, investigate the person that you may want to hang out with, or like. There are many ways to find one’s history before becoming a part of their life, don’t be fooled, don’t make a mistake that will haunt you the rest of Your Life!
I have witnessed so many marriages that have failed, both Christian and Non-Christian. The root of the cause is Godly Love. The Love that you have for God, will be reflected in your marriage for your spouse. If, two people come together in marriage, God says they become One, that when He looks down He sees One Flesh before Him. What would He see, if Evil and Good came together in a marriage, He would see Evil for the most part. Why, because if you married someone who is not a Believer, then you have already sinned, and you need to repent.
Now, I’m not going to get into the Scriptures that talks about the Believer married to a Non-Believer because of one getting saved, while the other remains unsaved. But, in that case, the Scriptures says that the Believer Sanctifies the House before God. How is that? It is because the Believer needs to Live a Life that Reflects God to the Unbeliever at all times, in all ways. It is a very hard task, but God will Prevail! What I have been focusing on is the one’s who are not married and are considering to marry a Nonbeliever and to tell them how God the Father looks at it.
Only be around Believers, Only Marry a Believer! Do not throw Witnessing into this mix either. If God tells you to go and Witness to a person, then do it, but Keep Your Self SEPARATED! Do not let Your Emotions become involved with that person. If you Love God, then you cannot marry a nonbeliever, then expect God to Bless it, He…will not!
A Yoke, is to Bind Two Together As One!
