Does it Really Matter How You Approach The Throne of Jesus? Does Your Posture Show Your Heart In Truth? Does Your Language Matter? Does it Matter How and Where to Begin? Does it Matter When? The Answer to these Questions is , YES!
I am Talking about Prayer! Jesus gave us a Model Prayer, but it is a Model! If you go day to day praying this prayer:
Matthew 6:9-13 KJV
“9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”
Then Brothers and Sisters, You have missed the Mark! Jesus was giving Instructions On How and What to Pray, it is a Model, a Guide Line, a Template. There is a Right Way and There Is A Wrong Way. I am Not talking about the clothes you wear, or your voice has been a certain tone, nor am I talking about location only in part.
The Absolute Biggest thing about Prayer, is Your Relationship With God!!!
1 Samuel 13:14 KJV
“But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him [to be] captain over his people, because thou hast not kept [that] which the LORD commanded thee.”
Acts 13:22 KJV
“And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the [son] of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.”
The Relationship that David had With The Father, is Amazing! Likewise, Abraham was called The Friend Of The Father! Our Prayers Matter to Jesus, but we Need to Build a Relationship With Jesus. There are many ways you can Pray, Where You Pray, How You Pray, but through the years and the Leading Of The Holy Spirit, I have been Taught that Prayer Is Your Life Line, but is also Your Relationship With Jesus!!!
The First Thing, there is One Time that Absolutely Matters, that is when You First Wake Up. It also Matters What and How I Pray to Jesus every morning that You Wake Up. There has been billions of testimonies that if You Start Your Day In Prayer, that the rest of Your Day Unfolds With Jesus Over Your Day, I, can Testify it does Matter!!!
I will tell you my Prayer Every Day, Seven Days A Week, 365 Days A Years. Before I do anything, unless the bathroom has a heavy call, I Lay Down on the floor, face planted in the floor, my arms are stretched out on the floor, likewise my legs. Why would this mean anything…. “Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.” I am Putting Jesus upon the Throne, First, before anything else, my Position is one of Complete Surrender, Vulnerable, Nothing To Hide. My Prayer begins, “Thank You Jesus for wakening me and giving me a New Day! I Thank You, for All That You Have Done (past), All That You Are Doing (now), and All that You Will Do (future)! I Give You Praise Jesus!! I Thank You For Your Mercy and Grace That Is Upon Me and for Thy Love That Is Bound To Me, Be Merciful upon this wretch soul!!! I Thank You Jesus For Thy Long Suffering Towards Me, Please, Forgive Me of My Sins”! This first part of My Prayer Establishes Jesus On The Throne, keeping in Remembrance What Jesus does for Me Every Day, to Establish that I Know that My Righteousness is Filthy Rages!
Isaiah 64:6 KJV
“But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesses [are] as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”
My next Action In Heart, is Thanksgiving, now this will very according to Your Life, but this is Mine: “Lord Jesus, I Thank You for my truck and the Blessings There Of! I Thank You for my trailer and the Blessings There Of!, I Thank You for my apartment and all of it’s accommodations and the Blessings There Of! I Thank You for my Health and the Blessings There Of, Heal this body, restore my youth! I Thank You for my food and the Blessings There Of! I Thank You for my clothes and the Blessings There Of! I Thank You for all of my electronics and the Blessings There Of! I Thank You for my job and the Blessings There Of! I Thank You for (spouse, girlfriend, boyfriend Name) and the Blessings There Of!” I Recognize All of My Possessions that Jesus has given me. Your list may be longer or shorter, but the main point is to Give Jesus Praise for What He HAS Already Done In YOUR LIFE, we need to be Grateful to Jesus and What He has given us, it is a Humbling State Within The Heart!!!
Psalm 100:4 KJV
“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, [and] into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, [and] bless his name.”
This next part is My Request that I want to make. It can be anything, DO NOT LIMIT JESUS! He wants You to Approach Him, Knowing He Is Able To Do Abundant Things On Your Behalf. Let me Emphasize This Part, when I say Anything I MEAN ANYTHING!!! If you are praying for Healing, a Job, a Spouse, about Your Spouse, Your Sex Life, yes I said about Your Sex Life, who do you think Made You??? ….pray for Your Crops, Your Repairs to whatever, Your Money, the List Of Needs, Wants and Desires is Infinite! Do Not Limit what Jesus Can Do. I know of things that I have Prayed about, In Very Specific Details and Our Lord Jesus Answered Them, even Beyond What I Asked. This is Your Place to be Human, to Let Go and Harbor Nothing. Jesus Wants this Type of Relationship with Every Born Again, Blood Bought!!!
Matthew 17:20 KJV
“And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
Matthew 19:26 KJV –
“But Jesus beheld [them], and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”
Luke 1:37 KJV
“For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
Hebrews 11:6 KJV
“But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
Now, for the Closing of My Prayer, Surrendering: “Lord I Thank You For All Things, I Give You My Life, To Have and To Hold, That What Ever I Do or Say, Will Bring You Praise, Honor and Glory, In The Mighty Name Of Jesus, Amen and Amen!!!” at this I move my Upper Part of My Body into a Kneeling Position with My Eyes still closed, but My Hands are now Crossed, Wrist to Wrist, Palms Up and I say: “I Surrender All Things Into Your Hands” I Open My Eyes seeing that My Hands Are Empty, that All Things In My Heart, My Soul, are Now In Jesus Hands, NOT MINE!!!
My Prayer has Covered The Model Prayer Jesus gave us. But the Order that We Pray, does make a Difference. What We Examine First In Our Hearts when Approaching Jesus makes a Difference on Our Daily Lives! On Our Relationship With Jesus. This Prayer, the Order The Lord taught me to Pray, has Opened Doors that were Welded Shut by Satan and Man!!! I have seen so many miracles that I literally can not name them all, there are to many. My World, Belongs to Jesus and Jesus World, Belongs to Me!!!
You Limit Jesus because You do not Understand about the Relationship that Jesus Wants With You! This is a Walking, Breathing Prayer, Full Of Life In Jesus!!!
There is much more about Prayer, Our Relationship With Jesus, this Prayer that I just showed you, is ONLY The Beginning of Your Day, there are many more things dealing with Our Prayers and Our Relationship throughout the day. I Challenge Ever Born Again, Blood Bought, to take what I showed you I pray, do it for Three Months, see if anything changes in Your Life With Jesus. If there is No Change, I Want you to contact me, if there is a Change, I Want you to contact me. Your Life should Always be a Living Testimony To Your Relationship With Jesus, if it is not, you have issues that need to be taken care of, it can cause a Road Block, that Your Prayers will not be Answered Accordingly.
Prayer, Keeps Us ON The Foundation, Makes Mountains Move, Builds A Relationship With The Father, Jesus and The Holy Spirit, it is, Our All In All!!!
